Keira woke up to Elijah's blood, and sat up as color began returning to her skin, and Elijah talking with Klaus. She stood, and was about to speed away so neither could lecture her, but her neck was snapped moderately quick.
When she woke up again, Elijah stood over her.
"Here to give me the whole 'idiot' speech?" she asked, annoyed. Then she notice Thierry. "You know, I told you to leave, but you could have done what men do best and disobeyed. What that witch did actually hurt!"
"What, Keira? We made a deal to take out your brother, but at he end of the day, it's every man for himself," Thierry replied.
"I am so sick of self-serving narcissists. Are men simply incapable of committing to an alliance?"
"Enough," Elijah said, standing quickly and snapping Thierry's neck. "Oh, I asked you to cease these petty moves against our family, and yet you conspire with this fool. Is this what its come to, making moves against your own blood?"
"Don't you try and shame me. Nik grows more powerful by the day, and you do nothing but encourage him."
"I offer him my counsel because it's clear to me that he needs to make the city our home. Now, perhaps leading these derelicts will curb some of these impulses, grant him some degree of happiness."
"You always talk of Nik's happiness. Over 1,000 years, he has robbed me of any chance at my own. What about me, Elijah? Am I not a concern for you?"
"Oh, of course. Making this about yourself."
"Oh, get over yourself. You know, I've spent the last thousand years trying to make our family happy. Trying to get Nik to leave Finn alone, trying to protect Kol from even you, trying to keep Rebekah from making huge mistakes, and what have I gotten from that? Finn and Kol are dead, Rebekah's just- being, Rebekah, and all I ever get from trying to be happy is a dagger in my heart."
"We all make sacrifices in the name of this family, sister, but know this. I would never stand against you or Niklaus."
"What about Hayley? Nothing I conspire to do, none of my treachery will harm this family as much as your feelings for her. You're a hypocrite, Elijah. You would choose happiness over family and then condemn me for doing the same.

The next day, Keira found Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah, and Marcel examining the corpse of Papa Tunde.
"So," she said. Klaus glared at her. "Oh, don't bother. Anyways, it seems that the Harvest witches can be resurrected if we kill the witches resurrected in their places."
"And, how exactly do you know that?" Klaus asked.
"Because Monique Deveraux apparently exploded out of a grave this morning."
"What?!?"
Marcel sighed. "Back in the day, the witches wanted to send a threat, they'd just kill a chicken and leave it on your doorstep."
"It's rather a large and ominous chicken, wouldn't you say?" Elijah asked.
"Papa Tunde defeated Keira with ease, almost got the two of us as well. If he was supposed to be the prize fighter, why leave him for dead in our front yard?" Klaus asked.
"You know, about Monique exploding out of a grave, the tourists thought it was part of the show, but the witches are celebrating like it's some kind of bloody miracle," Keira replied.
"Maybe it is. They think that all hope is lost, but now suddenly a Harvest girl is resurrected. This is how we're gonna get Davina back– kill the witch who took her place," Marcel said.
"Keira, come with me," Elijah said. Keira followed him up to the study.
"You can stop ignoring me, big brother. It's not like I was plotting against you," she told him, pouring herself a drink. "It's not too early for scotch, is it, with all the witchy shenanigans and subterfuge afoot?"
"It is entirely too early if one intends to drive, yes."
"Funny. I don't have a drivers license, a car, or plans to go anywhere!"
"She's not safe here. You have to take Hayley to the plantation house until this is over," Elijah said.
"Are you worried about Hayley, or whether or not you can trust me?" Keira asked, tilting her head.
"It's precisely because I trust you that I'm asking you to do this."
"Here's a novel idea- why don't you let Hayley decide for herself? Why are you dictating her fate?"
"You know why."
"Then perhaps you should take her yourself."
"Well, then that would make me the very hypocrite you've accused me of being. Keira, I cannot legislate my feelings. My actions, however... So, would you kindly do this for me?"
"You know the mama wolf loves to be told what to do. She's not gonna like it. But I will do it for you, if only to end this silly quarrel between the two of us," Keira said, walking out. before she could leave, Marcel pulled her into the kitchen and turned on the faucet and blender. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Listen, everybody's running off looking for resurrected witches. Meanwhile, I think I saw one at the church- Genevieve," Marcel said, panicked. Keira, remembering a secret she had kept for Rebekah, widened her eyes.
"What?!?"
I can't be sure. I only caught her out of the corner of my eye. Been with Klaus since. But it looked like her. And you and I both know that she would have a reason to wanna be back. A lot of unfinished business, a lot of secrets that you, me, and Rebekah don't want getting out."
"I have to take Hayley to the plantation. You need to find Genevieve and end this. End it like Bex did the last time," Keira said. Marcel nodded.
"Thank you," he said, before leaving. "For keeping the secret all these years."
Keira turned off the blender and faucets, before leaving as well.
"I thought I was gonna have to drag you to the plantation kicking and screaming," Keira told Hayley when they got to the plantation house.
"Yeah, well, we all just wanna protect me and the baby, right?" Hayley said cheekily.
"Hey, I'm on your side, remember? So, what gives?" Keira raised her eyebrows.
Hayley sighed. "Tonight's a full moon, Keira."
"So what? You're preggers, you can't turn."
"Yes, but I wanted to invite a few people over..."
"Of course. Every red-blooded American werewolf will be a bundle of fur and sharp teeth tonight, whilst your cursed Crescent Clan will be–"
"Human, but only for a few hours, and won't be again until the next full moon, so... I asked Josh to get a message out to Eve in the Bayou."
"Josh isn't dead yet? Well good on him. I love a nice survival story," Keira said. Then she noticed a random dude wheeling a dolly out of the house. "Who the bloody hell is that?"
"Kegs out back, alright?" Hayley said to him.
Keira smiled. "Right. It appears you weren't gonna wait for me to grant you permission to throw a kegger."
"Listen, you all want me safe? Fine. I'll do as I'm told. I'll play damsel in the glass tower. But tonight's the one night a month that I can meet my family. Now, you could rat me out and send me to my room, or you could help me to throw one hell of a party."
"I see why my brother slept with you."
