"Where do you want him?" Marcel asked, dragging Tyler's body into the Garden.
"Just put him anywhere handy until Klaus is taken care of. Where are we gonna put Klaus? He needs to be away from all the others. We don't want him formulating descent. You know he has a knack with words, he could talk his way out of hell," Keira replied.
"Yeah, he got a spot picked out for him in the back. Only person he's gonna be talking to in the next fifty-two years is himself."
"Fifty-two? Awfully specific."
"One for each year he kept your sister daggered in the 1800s."
"As I'll say in her place, one year for each you let him keep her daggered."
"I'll spend every day he's in there apologizing to her."
"Judging by the amount of people Rebekah's cared about that have been killed by Niklaus, she'll settle for long enough to experience just a little bit of happiness," Keira replied. "And, ensure that my niece isn't turned to a hybrid breeding machine. It's gonna be tough to keep him in here. That little witch of yours would put the odds in our favor."
"I can't risk it. She's got less and less control over her magic lately. I can't even get her out of the church attic, much less rely on her to go to battle against Klaus," Marcel said.
"Oh come on, you should have seen me when I was her age. Scratch that, me when I was in my teens. I was dead by the time I was her age," Keira said. "If she can't help, then we'll need your very best warriors. Klaus is strong and crafty, and betrayal makes him particularly nasty. Oh, and, whenever this goes down, tell me so I can leave. Rebekah will stay, but I'm not stupid enough to do so and risk joining Elijah in the wolf bite club."
"What we're doing is nothing Klaus hasn't done to both you and your brother four dozen times over. You're not getting second thoughts now, are you?"
"These aren't second thoughts. They're feelings of regret. I should have buried him centuries ago. That would be, about ten centuries I could have been happy for."
"Well, you can't just leave us all to possibly die, right?" Marcel asked.
"Not having second thoughts, are you?" Keira mocked. "I guess it'd be nice to see him defeated. But if he starts to gain the upper hand, I'm running to the other side of the world and possibly moving to a different planet."
"I honestly don't get it," Marcel said. "You and Klaus seem so close, and yet you just jumped at the opportunity to overthrow him."
"Marcel, Elijah's always been more of a brother to me than Niklaus. Nik daggered Elijah, then gave him to you, and then bit him. Rebekah's my only sister, and the amount of things he's taken from her... me, well, let's just say, there's a reason I don't believe in love. Klaus doesn't know, I don't forgive as easily as he believes he does. I just wonder how many good deeds until I forget about the bad."
"Very biblical," Marcel replied. Keira gave him a pointed look.
"I helped raise you, Marcel. Don't push me."

Marcel stood in the courtyard, waiting for Niklaus, who came in shortly after his adopted son.
"Klaus," Marcel said in a monotone.
"You've been avoiding my calls," Nik replied with his usual manic smile.
"Little pissed off lately," Marcel replied.
Nik tilted his head. "Apologies for my behavior can come later. You have something of mine. I want it back."
Marcel pulled out one of the silver white oak ash daggers. "Sorry, but I can't do that," he said as Rebekah walked in, stood next to him, and took the dagger.
Klaus looked unamused. "What is this?"
Keira sped into the courtyard as well. "Apologies for your behavior? You don't apologize, Nik. You just act. I've had enough. We have had enough."
Klaus smiled dryly at his youngest sister. "Look at you. Finally in possession of the one thing that can take you down. How does it feel?"
Keira pretended to think for a moment, examining the dagger, before looking up. "It feels great."
As the girls smiled, Marcel whistled, and a dozen vampires dropped from the balconies.
"So this is it? The evil bastard Klaus has gone too far, must be punished. And by his own sibling, nonetheless. How positively biblical. And you, Marcel, is this...?" Klaus started. "your idea of a hit? I taught you better than this paltry excuse for a take-down. Do you think you can subdue me with this!?"
"No," Rebekah said. "But we can with this."
Marcel whistled again, and three dozen more vampires dropped from the higher balconies. All of his army formed a circle around the original Hybrid, who did a 360° before spreading his arms in the Mikaelson pose.
"Let's end this charade, shall we? Vampires of New Orleans! Do recall that I am an Original. A hybrid. I cannot be killed. Eternity is an awfully long time. How long, do you think, Marcel will stay in power? What if one of you lot were to release me, knowing I will be eternally in your debt? Oh, I would pity those of you who dared to cross me. I can assure you, your ends would be spectacular. To borrow a trick from an old friend-" Klaus pulled out a large gold coin. "Whoever picks up this coin gets to live. Now, which of you magnificent bastards wants to join me?"
"Anyone wants that coin, pledge allegiance to Klaus. Take it now. Go ahead. The choice is yours," Marcel said as the coin hit the ground. As no one moved, the only sound able to be heard being their breathe and heartbeats, Marcel looked around proudly while Klaus looked slightly astonished and annoyed. "Take him," Marcel said finally. Six vampires lunged for Klaus, all of whom quickly were thrown back.
"Really?" Klaus said. "Say, baby sister, when you told me I underestimate exactly how far you will go, did you ever take into consideration you underestimate me?" He extended his hands again.
Keira smiled dryly. "No. To be honest, I overestimated you."
Klaus sighed, exasperated, and was about to lunge when two vampires behind him threw chains at his extended arms and pulled him backwards. Some of the other vampires began to throw things at him and hit/kick him.
Then Klaus's blue eyes turned amber.
"Damn it," Keira said as his werewolf side growled.
Klaus spun around, throwing the vampires holding him back in circles, before pulling them towards him and biting them hard in the necks. As they fell, the other vampires attempted to defend themselves, but were quickly taken down.
"Marcel!" Klaus yelled angrily "Come and finish this!"
Marcel, who appeared to be in fear, quickly stepped forwards, but Rebekah snapped out of her fear induced paralysis and grabbed his arms.
"No! Take the coin!" she said frantically.
"What?!?" Marcel asked, shocked.
Keira glared at Klaus. "He won't stop until everyone is dead. And he will kill you too. End this. Pick up the coin!"
Marcel considered this for a moment, before yelling, "Enough!"
The room fell silent as Klaus dropped a heart and turned to him. Marcel knelt and picked up the coin, and Klaus smiled at him.
"Well, well, well. The great Marcel, self-proclaimed king of New Orleans, bowing before me," he said as he held it up.
Marcel threw the coin at Klaus's feet. "There. I hereby pledge my allegiance to you. You have the keys to my kingdom. It's yours."
