Klaus layed shirtless in his room. His eyes were closed, and he was gasping in pain. Elijah watched him, conflicted, while Keira looked extremely horrified and guilty.

"Why did I stab him with it," she muttered. "I could've broken his neck, or lured him away-"

"You kept the secret too, he would have been equally angry at you," Elijah assured her. "It's not your fault. You were just protecting Rebekah."

"But-"

Elijah looked at Klaus. "This was all you."

Cami rushed into the compound in a hurry, and one of the vampires guarding the room stared at her.

"What's she doing here?" he asked.

"Camille. Thank you for coming," Elijah said.

"Why did you call me? Have you found a way to help my uncle?" Cami asked.

Elijah turned to Keira. "Bastianna hexed father Kieran," he said, turning back to Cami. "I can try, but first, I need your help."

"I don't have time for games, Elijah. The hex on him is getting worse by the day."

"My brother has a mystical torture device buried in his chest, and the mother of his child is inexplicably missing. So, I can assure you, I have no time to play any games, either."

"Hayley's missing?!?" Keira asked.

"Not our current problem," Elijah said.

"What do you need me to do?" Cami asked. "Wait, the dagger the witch gave me is inside of him?

"And every second it remains causes Niklaus untold suffering."

"Who stabbed him?"

Keira exhaled sharply and stood. "I did. And now I'm taking it out."

"Keira, wait-" Elijah started. Keira ignored him and punched into Klaus's chest. She started trying to find it as he screamed in pain.

"Why am I here?" Cami asked nervously.

"Because of all the people that could be here, you're probably the only one he wouldn't immediately slaughter. Also, he speaks of you with what is a rare degree-- for him, at least-- of respect. I can see you challenge him to see himself and others in a new light," Elijah replied. Keira breathed quickly, found the dagger finally, and yanked it out, causing Klaus to yell in absolute agony. She stepped back in fear. " A wonderful skill that I shall be counting on very shortly. You see, Niklaus will be weak as he recovers. So, watch over him and feed him, if you would. But slowly, please, and from your wrist."

"Don't you guys have bags of blood in storage?"

"We do, but your blood is laced with vervain. So, it will burn him. He'll ingest it slower. Perhaps you could use the time constructively? Persuade him not to murder his baby sisters?" Elijah said.

"Nik, it wasn't my desire to bring you this much pain," Keira said nervously as Klaus sat up weakly and then layed back down. "But I couldn't let you harm Rebekah."

Elijah put a hand on Keira's shoulder and looked at Klaus. "Now, I fear Sabine will be making a final move against us. I intend to find her and to end this."

Klaus sat up again and Keira stepped backwards again. "Little sister... I, will, make, you... pay for this."

"Nik, I'm sorry!"

"Sister, you need to leave. Now," Elijah said. "We both should, before he regains his strength. Take the blade, he'll be coming after you."

"What about you?"

"I'm going to find Celeste and Hayley."
