In the Hokage's office, three Tokubetsu Jōnin knelt as one of them gave a report.
"She's still not ready to go on missions alone, but she is incredibly fast and strong for someone in her state. I think she's good to go for team missions. Thus far, she's only made use of taijutsu and warfare tactics— both of which she is greatly skilled at.", Kakashi said. The Hokage hummed, nodding slowly in understanding. "She hasn't yet intentionally made use of her Sharingan, so I have yet to see the true strength of her prowess.", Kakashi said.
It only was after two and a half months or so that Suzume was finally cleared for training. To hear that she was doing well was music to the Hokage's ears.
The Hokage nodded. It seemed that Tama wasn't holding herself back like he had feared she would. It was a pleasant surprise considering she seemed like she would.
"I see. I must thank you, Kakashi, I know that this might not be an easy task for you.", he said smilingly.
Kakashi shook his head. He said in response, "It really isn't. She's far beyond the level of Tokubetsu Jounin in terms of taijutsu and kenjutsu in her current state. So I haven't had to do much in terms of teaching her anything. I've just had to be on high alert around her."
Ibiki grunted from where he knelt next to Kakashi. They shared a brief moment of eye-contact, before they both faced the Hokage once again.
"I've had to force her to use her Sharingan over the weeks. I must say that she makes the sessions worthwhile with how spontaneous she can be, but she holds back in that category. I still have a long way to go."
"What about mentally? Was there anything that showed her to be unstable, or anything of the likes?", the Hokage asked.
Kakashi glanced at Ibiki briefly before raking his brain. They had already gone through nine training sessions. Each time, Tama had a huge surprise in store for him.
"I remember she tried to commit suicide while in the infirmary.", Kakashi began.
The Hokage nodded in affirmation. He urged him to continue.
"Last week she jumped right in the way of my Raikiri, I barely stopped myself in time—", he cut himself short. A certain distance fogged the glint of his eye. The incident seemed to have triggered a memory in him, and there was a long pause. No one spoke in fear of putting Kakashi off. The Jōnin cleared his throat.
"Today she finally managed to deactivate her Sharingan. Much to my relief, seeing as it isn't exactly safe for physical training. I failed to see that it was a diversion and found myself in a purple fire prison. I was forced to counter using my own fire jutsu but, it barely did anything to help. All I managed was a small gap through which I had to jump. Thus my unsightly appearance," he vaguely gestured to his chared clothes. The Hokage nodded. "When I finally escaped, it was barely in time to stop her from really killing herself with a chakra infused kunai."
"I'm failing to understand how this is possible. Tama never recieved any prior Sharingan, or chakra training. As far as I'm concerned, she just aqcuired the dōjutsu during the massacre.", the Hokage said carefully, bringing himself to his feet. He was suspicious, if anything. He found himself scrutinising Kakashi, searching for some form of humour in his eyes. Unfortunately, there was none of that, he was serious.
It was that strange, this purple fire jutsu. It seemed that the girl had been practicing it for a long time. He didn't put it past her, but for her to use it as a distraction while she tried to commit suicide was a whole different story.
Kakashi's revelation rang heavily with dire implications. The Hokage was solemn as he thought about the possibility of Tama having secretly learned what could have been S-ranked forbidden jutsu, just so that she could kill herself. It didn't make sense
