The Naka river was long, flowing right through Kohona and the entirety of The Land of Fire. Over the village, there was a cliff, next to which a lush, green forest stood in all its might. This cliff spanned all the way from Kohona to the boder near Amegakure, along with its forest. It was here that Shisui had most definitely died a year prior to the Uchiha clan massacre. It was here that Tama painstakingly swam against a powerful current to retrieve his body. It was also here that she bound his soul so that he wouldn't die.

It had been five years since then. Four years since he woke up in the Northern Bamboo forest, and the massacre. Three years since he woke up in the Wasabi residence. A year had gone by since he was taken to Tama's little hideaway with Akira and Karin. He didn't want to admit it but, he was happy.

Not only had he managed to save Konoha from his clan's wrath, but he also managed to help save it from Madara. If not for Itachi confronting Fugaku, or encountering his predecessor, he didn't know just where the village would be by now.

As for Shisui, he was just glad that those siblings were the geniuses that they were(they were almost as smart as him). On the day that Tama saved him from Danzō, a root operative, Torune, had paralysed him and rendered him immobile. This allowed Danzō to beat him and harvest his eye. It was his right eye that was taken, and he gave the left one to Itachi, but Tama must have retrieved it as well because when he came to, he had both eyes.

Now that he thought about it, genjutsu might have been at play then, otherwise Torune would have acted in Danzō's defence. He recalled there being an exploding kunai, which exploded right in Danzō's face. Tama, though he didn't remember seeing her, swooped in immediately and took Shisui to safety, where he was kept alone for a gruesome eleven months in some strange little house. Now it was real a wonder why she pretended not to know anything afterwards, leaving him to wonder what happened during the time before he was forced back to life three years ago.

Anyway, during that time, Itachi was accused of having killed Shisui in order to obtain his Mangekyō Sharingan, which was actually awoken at around the same time when Shisui went missing. Naturally, Shisui was the one who had asked Itachi to cut him down after the encounter with Danzō. When he got back to the village, Shisui would discover that Itachi had already distanced himself from the clan, and was planning to stop them on his own. Shisui was touched, because he had planned to stop Fugaku with his own Mangekyō, but it was too late. In fact, the massacre happened mere hours later, and most people were terrified of the ghost that had come to cut them down.

He recalled there being times when his friend would approach him, aggrieved. As young children, Tama and Itachi were especially close, and every time she disappeared, Itachi would get worried sick.

"Tama-chan has been gone for days, now. Tou-san argured with her before that. She doesn't want to continue her lessons with master Sora.", six year old Itachi said before taking a bite from his mitarashi dango.

"Do you want us to look for her?", Shisui asked. Itachi paused and pondered for a moment before nodding.

"Sure, but I looked everywhere and she was nowhere to be found. Kaa-san also left for a mission a day later, so tou-san is stressed. I think he might send Tama-chan away.", the boy said. Shisui pursed his lips. What was Itachi talking about?

"What makes you say that?", he asked, genuinely curious. Itachi took in a deep breath.

"I heard him say that he would. He said she was becoming uncontrollable.", he revealed, stunning Shisui into silence. Where would Fugaku send Tama? To live with Mikoto's family? Away from the clan residence? What would become of her, being away from Itachi?

"He said something about honing a perfectly manipulatable weapon to Sora-sama; that Tama-chan shouldn't be allowed to stop that from happening.", Itachi said, the underlying implications clear in his tone. Shisui's heart must've fallen into his stomach. Suddenly, he could barely hear what Itachi said next. He was flabbergasted, befuddled. Tama was being trained a weapon? Is that why she wasn't allowed to train like Itachi? So that they could easily use her? Why? How? Wasn't this Fugaku's own daughter?
