The sound of a Biwa alarmed the Daimyō. He was nervous. You see, the shinobi of the Land of Fire and those of his own land were not the best of friends, but he amd their Daimyō had no problems with each other. That Biwa was a signal, his shinobi had arrived. While he had asked for a single Kunoichi, she was sent with two males since the Hokage thought it necessary. While he could easily afford to pay them all, he understood that more shinobi being sent meant that they believed his notions to have underlying implications.

He waited in his study as a group of high ranking servant went to recieve his geusts, preparing to be called out to meet them.

"Roshi, the guest has arrived.", a servant called from outside the room. He quickly rose and went to open. Fixing his face first, he slowly pushed the shoji aside and looked at the woman seriously. She avoided his gaze, keeping hers firmly on the floor where she knelt.

"Bring them to the welcoming hall.", he said sternly. The woman bowed and quickly left. With a sigh, the Daimyō stepped out. It would do no good to stand around and wonder if he made the right choice or not. Although, some would say his choice was questionable.

When he arrived at the hall, he was met with the sight of two bright men, once rather young and the other well of age, standing guard outside. Upon seeing him, they didn't seem to mind him all that much as they stepped aside. With one last curious look, he opened the shoji and stepped inside.

As expected, the servants were attending to the Kunoichi as per his instruction. To them, she was an honoured guest that he held in high esteem, so they didn't dare neglect her. At the back, next to his designated place, his wife was seated. He walked over to his dais and took his seat, watching keenly from behind a fan as the girl gracefully recieved her tea.

"She looks young.", his wife whispered. Indeed, the kunoichi had some rather childlike features, with a light purple-blue gaze so cold that it was a bit unsettling. She too had a fan in hand, slowly fanning herself as she carefully studied the woman before her as she made the tea.

"Welcome, my dear.", his wife finally said. The girl's gaze slowly rose to study them briefly, then she nodded slightly and said softly behind her fan, "A thousand thanks for having me."

At this, the daimyō was pleased. She seemed to know exactly how to behave, which meant he wasn't likely to be found out because of something so trivial as that. His wife smiled a soft smile, her gaze not leaving the girl slightly.

"You must be wary from your travels. Shall I give you time to rest for the day?", she asked. The girl nodded, taking her teacup in hand and sipping. She then said, "However, we must discuss an important matter that has come to my attention about the people back home. If we could be afforded a moment to ourselves, I would be ever-grateful."

The daimyō immediately eyed the servants, and they all left immediately. Not a second later, the two men outside entered and shut the shoji. The girl got to work on four slips of paper that resembled shamanic seals, and gave them to the males once she was done. They each walked to opposite sides of the hall amd placed them adjacent to each other on the walls. Once they were done with that, the girl performed a set of handsigns, and each slip began glowing. Then, the two males sat down, both seeming very serious. The girl then focused on her cup of tea, as if she wasn't the one who asked for a moment alone.

"With these seals in place, everything that is said in here will not be heard outside.", the girl said. The daimyō and his wife immediately looked around curiously. How interesting, these shinobi tricks could be.

"We're really sorry about this, but we needed to get a full briefing as what exactly is happening here.", the older male said, his voice laced, in every sense, with seriousness. This immediately drew their attention to him.
