It was the most ironic situation. The most unexpected turn of events. Tama hummed, amused, as Shisui and Hono sat to one side in an attempt to keep their distance from the Kyuubi. Before them, a large fire kept them warm as the two of them eyed the beast warrily.
"I can feel your eyes on me.", Tama said softly as she reclined into Kurama's shoulder. Kurama brought his head over her to study the two young men. Then, with a huff, he looked up into the distance and said with a scoff, "What a pair of wimps."
"That's very rude of you, Kurama.", Tama said softly as she scratched him. Proud of himself, the fox displayed it's canine with a faux yawn, and shook itself before resting its head next to her. She had yet to tame the beast, but this little moment was a good start. It certainly wouldn't be easy, moving forward. With that, she placed a hand on what she assumed was the underside of its ear, and scratched it lightly.
"Where is my mother?", she then asked. The question was directed at anyone who had an answer, including Kurama, but he did say anyting. There was a long, agonising moment of dead silence, before Hono cleared his throat.
"I'll be honest with you, I don't know what happened to Tomeo-san. She and I hadn't seen each other since a few days after you were conceived, then I died and bound myself to this seal. From then onwards I never saw her again, until you came along that day, she suddenly appeared out of nowhere. However, the moment you left, were we pulled apart again.", he explained, not able to maintain eye-contact, lest his emotions betray him. Tama didn't respond, instead opting to take a moment to calm herself down before she punched something out of existence.
"Are you alright?", Shisui asked, sounding a bit concerned. Tama couldn't even answer without whimpering. In all honesty, she had always been a crybaby, but now she couldn't really hold her tears because of where they were. She turned around to face Kurama and snuggled into him, causing the beast freeze completely. Helplessly, it looked at the two men, who helplessly looked at it. There was a predicament, a father and a... Male friend were waiting for each other to make a move. The father had no experience being one, and just knew that he would mess up. The friend knew the girl well enough that he understood she wouldn't appreciate unwanted attention, and her father was there, he wouldn't just do anything.
Then, as if to save them from eternal darkness, the mountainous woman from earlier appeared over the mountains. She didn't even say anything as she reached down and took the girl. Tears spilled freely down her face as well. Then another one showed up from the other side, looking exactly identical to the first one.
"Now now, please don't cry, miss.", the second one said, stunning Shisui into being motionless. The first one nodded and said something in another language.
"What the hell are those?", Hono asked, eyes wide as saucers. Shisui sighed, he was starting to recognise those two women, and if he was right then this was quite the show.
"Looks like her Susanō.", he said very carefully. Hono's gaze shot to him immediately, shocked. When did that happen? More importantly; hiw did it happen? In the Uchiha clan, the Sharingan was used as a measure of power, but he knew better than that. It was more a measure of pain and suffering. In order for her to have a Susanō she needed the Mangekyō Sharingan, meaning she aught to have suffered greatly. He looked up and was shocked to see the Susanō put her down once again.
"The father must do something. The lover cannot do anything.", the second one sang. Shisui blushed furiously upon realising that he was the lover they were refering to. Avoiding Hono's scrutinising gaze, he watched as the suspected Susanō set Tama down gently and rose. They both stayed there, watching like some condescending gods. Then they peered at him keenly, like he was some rare specimen. He looked away, not able to endure the scrutiny. Hopefully, they would leave soon.
