After forming three man cells, the Faction Captains immediately headed in different directions. There was no time to wait around.

Now, knowing Suzume, she was bound to be all over the place trying to control as much as she could. It was her one flaw, if ever there had to be one. The real one would be impossible to locate, especially with how indiscriminate she was in her judgement. She could be anywhere between the genin, the Hokage, and the snakes.

The best that he and Yamato could do was prioritise. Catching the Snake Sage was at the top of the list. He cast his fellow captain a brief look. Yamato didn't have the best history where Orochimaru was concerned, but in such a situation, there was little choice.

"We'll head for the Hokage.", Yamato said, before Hitsuji could speak. He didn't have the heart to ask any questions, rather immediately breaking into a sprint after the man.

...

By the looks of it, the Hokage was the main target of this whole operation, and the snake sage was out for his blood. When she arrived, Tama found that their fight was a messy one. The Hokage did his best to steer clear of the residential districts. Tama sighed in relief when she saw that they were all already empty, the civilians were in a safe place.

The Chūnin emergency response teams were still good after all that time.

Orochimaru had a sword in hand as he advanced towards the Hokage. It had been a long while since she arrived at the barrier, so they had been fighting for the long time yet. By now, the Hokage ought to have been spent. Even then, he persevered.

The third Hokage was a fighter, even in his old age. Even Orochimaru seemed to lack much advantage over him despite the damage he had already dealt. Such was to be expected from a sensei and his student. The first and second Hokage, in the flesh, came running, ready to kill. At this, Tama was absolutely ready to take the Hokage's place. Just how much had she missed?

Nearby, Anbu agents Neko, Mushi and Kaeru also watched, highly tense as they discussed everything that happened before them. Tama looked away, she wasn't supposed to be there, but she didn't really care. You see, Tama was something of a Hokage's shadow from a young age. Where the Hokage was, you were bound to find her as well.

She considered stepping in, but she wasn't skilled or strong enough to face the snake sage and the Hokage on her own. She would have to wait for an opening, but that would be a waste of time. Every second was precious, her hands itched and she couldn't keep still. She caught Neko's gaze nearby, and he frantically shook his head at her. She averted her gaze, she knew what she was doing.

She watched as the Hokage finally went through a series of hand signs, performing a fire release jutsu strong enough to sear a herd of elephants in seconds.

"Water style: Water wall jutsu!", the second Hokage countered. Tama followed each and every hand sign, making sure to memorise the technique in case of future need. Another water style jutsu was sent at the third Hokage, which he defended himself against using the Earth style: Mud wall Jutsu. It went on and on until the third Hokage was finally caught in the first Hokage's wood release secret jutsu.

Ninja art: Summoning! Monkey king, Enma!"

The jutsu was perfomed hastily and the old man landed right in front of Orochimaru. The Monkey king faced the Senju brothers while the Hokage dealt with Orochimaru.

Now.

She hastily produced twenty chakra clones, which scattered all over the roof of the building, getting ready to back up. Two clones remained, one waiting for the third Hokage and the other, approaching the Monkey King.
