A three man cell set out in the wee hours of a cool morning. Their uniform barely visible in the dark shadows of the forest.

They were a trio of Konoha Anbu, consisting of a Suzume, an Oukami, and a Fukurō.

In this team, Oukami was the frontline of the mid-range offence, which consisted of her and Suzume. The intelligence was Fukurō and Suzume, where Oukami acted as backup.

Suzume was best at setting traps, and was in the middle ground for tracking and capturing. The three of them were renowned all across the Land of Fire for their high end tracking ability.

They hadn't been together since Suzume was taken out of the system. During that time, Oukami and Fukurou worked as a dou, refusing to accept any new additions(replacements for Suzume) to their team. They were a tight-knit trio, inseparable, no matter who ow what tried to ge between them.

The team moved swiftly through the Northern Bamboo Forest near the western border of The Land of Fire. Little attention was paid to the animals around them, so it was rather intriguing when Suzume halted in front of a row of large bamboo shoots where three pandas feasted leisurely.

Oukami sniffed at the air before nodding at Fukurou. There were ninja in the area, they knew that much, and they were waiting for them right at this spot. This was the part where they were meant to just fall into the enemy's trap, but they wouldn't go down without a fight. A silent agreement was reached quickly between the three, and Suzume was thrilled as blood rushed to her head.

It had been such a long time.

It was a blur from then onwards. Only the sound of battle could be heard. They were greatly outnumbered, so the team made to hold a tight formation.

What they had thought to be mist all around them turned out to be an odorless knock out fume, Suzume realised. She was too late by then, it had already taken effect.

The first to drop was Oukami, courtesy of her more sensitive lungs. Fukurō and Kitsune were quick to go on the offensive, seeing as they were already one member short.

Three minutes were enough. The pandas were long gone and hidden in the mist, the enemy sent a flurry of weapons their way. They easily dodged the assault, making sure that Oukami was unharmed.

Fukurō was the next to fall, the fumes having overpowred him. Suzume had to be knocked out by force.

It didn't take long for them to be captured. The enemy's hideout wasn't too far off, based on info from previous missions by other squads.

They were captured and carried there by what was three pandas in the previous five minutes. Intriguing indeed.

It must have been hours later when Suzume woke up. It felt like she had been passed out for days on end, her head was so painful too. She would cradle it in her hands if she wasn't bound up like a sausage. Looking around she realised that she and the other's were in some storage room somewhere.

She felt some movement behind her.

"Oukami? Fukurō? Are you guys awake?", whispered Suzume.

"I'm awake.", It was a male voice that answered. Fukurō. "I've been trying to wake you two for hours. I've been up for five hours, to be exact.", he said as he wiggled in an attempt to awake Oukami.

"It's no use, she won't be up for hours. She's more sensitive to the knock out gas than we are. I guess there are disadvantages of being an Inuzuka.", Suzume said, sounding rather dejected. They couldn't escape without Oukami. Even if they could, they wouldn't dare leave her behind. It would be against their way as the rebel squad. Teammates came first, never the mission.
