and forced to relive every curse every life.
to think i was perfect and have it stripped away from me.
i, a beauty for eyes
seemed to be cursed by maleficent—————————————————————————————————
my mother wakes me up,
pulling me by my hair
forcing me into our living room"what the heck?" i held the sore patch of my hair on my head.
"have you seen your father cheating on me?" her eyes widened like black skies, but pupils dialed into small dots.
"no, why?" i rolled my eyes slipping on my pink slippers
"because i found him with a whore last night!" she jabbed her hand to their room.
"mom, can you stop with the cursing..?" i leaned on the couch, "probably just a business partner"
"do business partners kiss?" she gripped my arm.
"i guess not"for that week, i had a bruise that wouldn't go away,
and brushing hair was torture
and i felt my life slipping away
like all the golden things in my life fluttered away like butterflies
and no one cared.
