Alice's point of view again :)

i just got home,
with the familiar smells
of cigarettes and incense
i knew i had to check here first

"Mom, are you smoking?" I groaned, "I already texted you Amitola was coming over.."
"Oh shit.." She mumbled, "Can you go light some candles?"
"Sure.." I smiled weakly, opening a box of candles.
"Thanks hun.. I'll clean up in here." She smiled back.
"Thanks.." I took the lighter from off the table, and held it over the candle.
"So.." She snickered, "I decided to try and ask your dad to visit.."
"What did he say..?" My eyes shot up.
"We'll find out when the mail comes.." She chuckled.
"You guys don't have phone numbers..?" I questioned eagerly.
"He doesn't really feel comfortable with that.." She muttered.
"Oh, okay.." I mumbled.

a knock on the door breaks the silence

"Your friend?" She smiled.
"Mhm.." I giggled, opening the door.
"Hey Alice!" She squealed, "Hi Ms. Cao!"
"Hi!" I chuckled, gesturing my arms to welcome her in.
"Where's your room?" She giggled.
"This way.." I opened my door softly.
"Nice!" She chuckled, closing the door.
"So, I saw this new movie we could watch before eating dinner.." I smiled.
"Ooo, what's it about?" She hops onto my bed playfully.
"It's about this group of people who find a huge space ship!" I giggled.
"Is it scary?" Amitola clapped her hands.
"I think so.." I grinned.
"Yay!" She giggled, "but.. do you think we could watch it after dinner so we could eat popcorn?"
"That sound like a better idea!" I squealed.
"So.. you wanna draw in the meantime?" Amitola smiled.
"I was thinking about doing something else." I smirked, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Hm.. that's really tempting, but I really want to draw you something.." She frowned.
"As long as you don't laugh at how bad I draw.." I chuckled.
"Of course not!" She snickered.
"Alright, alright. Here's some paper, pencils, and crayons.." I grinned.

we sat there
drawing for a while,
but i couldn't help it,
my eyes kept taking glimpses of amitola,
looking into her eyes
into her soft skin
into her pink lips
captured into a camera in my brain
wishing that this moment could last
infinite breaths of fresh air
because that's what it felt like,
what she felt like

"I'm done!" She giggled.
"I've been done for a half an hour." I smiled.
"Aww, I'm sorry!" She frowned, "Were you bored..?"
"No, I was never bored.." I chuckled, handing her my paper which was filled with hearts and two stick figures.
"Aw, this is so damn cute!" She held the paper close to her chest.
"I know, it's kind of childish.." I looked down, kind of embarrassed.
"No, I'm going to post this up on my wall!" She squeaked.
"Can I see yours?" I giggled eagerly.
"It's of you!" She smiled, handing me a detailed portrait of myself.
"Wow.." I grinned, "this makes mine look like a piece of shit.."
"You like it..?" She looked into my eyes.
"How could I fucking not?" I squealed, "How the hell did you draw this?"
"My speciality," She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.
"Oh my god.." I rolled my eyes, softly punching her shoulder in a playful way.
"So.. you still want to do your idea..?" She scooted closer, filling the silence.
"Hm.. that sounds like a good idea.." I smirked, pulling her closer.

Amitola's POV because why not? :)

i cup her face with my hands,
pushing her lips softly into mine,
fitting together like a puzzle piece
she pulls me onto her lap
making my breath heavier
as i wrapped my arms around her soft skin
pulling our faces apart
and looking into her eyes
realizing we were both panting

"Girls!" Mrs. Cao called softly, "Dinner's ready!"
"Okay!" Alice stuttered as I jumped off her lap awkwardly.
"Let's go eat," I smiled, pulling her by the hands until the door opened.
