this is in amitola's point of view (i won't be doing this often)
i watch her walk away from my house,
and felt hope walk away too
life without a hope
is like walking around with an empty body
feeling no belief for anything
anyone
like a phase
or piece
of your mind is missing
and you walk around
not caring any less.

"I'm just going to pack a bag, and then I'll be ready.." I mutter, calling from up the stairs.
"Alright Amitola.." My mom groans, "but if you walk out this house without our talk, I will not hesitate to go over there and embarrass you in front of your friends.."
"Alright, I get it.." I sighed, stomping my way up to throw any clothes in my bag.
"So..," I muffled, strolled down the steps.
"Amitola, just remember to stop eating so much food.." She sighed, "If you come home looking fat, you won't be getting more than 1 meal a day for a month.."
"It's normal for teenagers to gain a little bit.. because we're growing.." I stuttered weakly.
"Honey, you're just getting too fat," She chucked deceptively.
"It's not funny.." I started to get louder.
"Get out, before I call in your father," She looked up at me with sharp eyes, "He won't like your tone."
i took my bag
and stumbled out the house
tearing up
i thought to myself,
so thankful alice didn't witness that
so thankful i didn't stay to see what her dad had to say
so thankful her house was far enough to dry out my puffy eyes
so i roamed the streets
wishing i wasn't such a girl
a girl that cried over little things
a girl who came out
a girl who relied on another girl,
a better girl
that wouldn't be there forever
like if i was a four leaf clover
and someone ripped off one of my petals
so i wasn't so lucky.
i hope that lost petal is happy
