Bradley watched as Herobrine took over Ender's body once again. It was hard to explain.
As they stood on the moor outside Herobrine's palace, Ender was trying to say something before Herobrine took full control.
"What, Ender?" Asked Alex as Ender writhed on the floor. "What are you trying to say?"
Bradley's hand moved to his sword. He remembered how he had held its tip to Ender's throat the night before. He remembered the horrified way his friends had looked at him, as if he were crazy.
But he didn't think he was crazy. If he had killed Ender back at the caves, all of Minecraft could have been saved. Herobrine would have been dead too.
"Bradley..." Ender croaked, as if it had taken all his energy to utter the name. "Please kill me... save the world."
Ender's body went limp and Braden, Rax, Alex, and Steve stared at Bradley. After a life of enjoying the spotlight, he wished he could disappear.
. . .
Gregor felt alive. He and the HH, along with the Warriors of Notch were racing towards the palace of Herobrine. He felt like he was flying and grinned loudly for all to see, which isn't something one would normally do before battle.
His sword hung on his back, just waiting to be used.
By the time he made it in through the large black doors of the palace, the main guards were already taken out. He followed the mass mob of warriors through the maze of corridors. In a second he was lost, but he didn't care; he wasn't planning on finding his way out for a while.
An undead warrior, blank eyes flashing, ran at Gregor with his sword raised. As he wielded his own sword against the enemy, Gregor remembered fighting against the same warriors in his earlier battle. That night he'd died. It wasn't going to happen again.
Their swords clashed and the spar was on. Gregor moved left and right, using every move Ben had ever taught him. His sword became an extention of his arm, glancing off the other's blade in a strangely elegant dance.
In only a second Gregor's blade had found itself inside the gut of his enemy. Pulling it out, he sheathed it and started down the dark, empty, hall.
He didn't want to fight Herobrine's army. He wanted to fight Herobrine.
. . .
Enderbrine got up and dashed away, leaving Bradley, Braden, Alex, Rax, and Steve watching him as he ran towards his palace.
"Herobrine!" Called Braden as he loaded his bow. "We have to go after him," he told the others.
There was a knot in Bradley's gut as he nodded. The friends loaded their weapons and sped to the looming castle.
Little did they know there was already an army inside.
. . .
Gregor sprinted through the hallways with no idea how to find Herobrine. He had to be in there somewhere, but how was he to find him?
Suddenly, he heard a voice. It was one that he'd heard before.
"Hello, Gregor."
Gregor glanced around. In the corner was Ender. He'd found Herobrine, and had no idea, thinking it was his friend.
"Ender! What are you doing here? I thought you were at the Resistance," said Gregor. He didn't take out his sword because he didn't think he needed to. He had no idea the person he was talking to was possessed by the most evil tyrant in all of Minecraft.
"I'm not Ender," corrected Enderbrine.
"Excuse me?" Asked Gregor, sensing something was wrong.
With a cruel sneer, Enderbrine raised a fist, accumulating a ball of hot fire in his hand. And with a laugh and a light, he launched it at Gregor's face.
