When everyone reached HQ, we all started to move to a large lounge room.
"Wow," I said, "this place exists."
Joseph laughed.
There were tables everywhere (maybe they were for flipping) and cakes just on the floor.Chests labelled different food types sat in a corner.
"Why isn't everybody going to take off their armor and clean up before the get the party ready?" I asked Joseph.
"In the Resistance, it's respectful to wear your armor and keep your weapons at a victory," Joseph explained.
"Let's start this party!" A young blonde boy yelled, lifting a juke box above his head.
He placed it on the ground. It began to play music with a soft drumbeat.
"And let's thank the leader who planned this strategy!" The boy yelled, grabbing my arm. I could see a grin through his iron helmet. Spiky blonde locks poked out of the bottom. His eyes were an intelligent blue. He looked like a fun person to e around. I decided to talk to him later.
The crowd of warriors cheered at me. It wasn't just my unit, but all of the warriors in the Resistance. A little flower of pride blossomed somewhere in my heart.
"You go, Ender," the boy said encouragingly, slapping my chestplate and walking away.
"Hey, guys. Great job out there, today. Herobrine's men didn't know what hit 'em," I said.
The warriors cheered, giving me more confidence.
"And we'll celebrate this victory like no other. Let's party!"
Everyone in the lounge cheered loudly and the music was turned up and filled the air.
I walked over to the blonde boy. He was taking his helmet off and putting it into his inventory.
His face split into a grin. "So, Ender, you're the new leader."
Yeah, I guess so. What's your name?"
"Bradley. I'm 14."
"So am I," I said before grabbing a piece of cake.
"Here's a secret," he suddenly said, putting his arm around my shoulder. "I'm a weird guy."
"Aren't we all?" I asked.
"I'm different. And I want to tell you because I trust you. When I was 11, the time that Herobrine first took power, he captured me and ran some tests on my body with his gamma."
I nodded. Ben sometimes mentioned the deadly gamma that Herobrine used for battle.
"Well after the Resistance rescued me, I was left with some abilities. Some supernatural abilities."
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"I can look into people's inventory."
He pulled away from me and concentrated his electric blue eyes on my green ones.
"You have a used stone pickaxe, 12 steak, a diamond sword, and a bow." After that, Bradley released his concentration, looking exhausted.
"Woah," I said. "What else can you do?"
Bradley thought about it for a second. "I can see clearly in the dark and I can run faster than most people, but that's not radioactive."
I nodded. "I guess Herobrine's plans backfired then?"
Bradley agreed. "Pretty much."
I looked around the party. "Any recommendations on where to go?"
