CHAPTER 24

ACHELIOS AND his friends are currently gathered in the same room, all dressed up and decided to have a conversation while waiting for Olivia and his sister na ngayon ay nagha-handa na para sa birthday celebration na magaganap. “He'll be crazy finding that by now,” -ani Darwin.

“It wouldn't be a surprise if he'll know.”

“That's kinda cool.”

Nga naman, paniguradong mababaliw ang loko-lokong 'yon kakahanap sa device. Sa lahat nang bagay na ayaw nitong mawala, ang hawak-hawak ngayon ni Kairo ang ayaw nitong pakialaman. He doesn't give a fúck about what's dont and that, ang pakialaman ang buhay ng iba ang nauunang kinaaaliwan niya.

Makalipas ang ilang minuto na pananahimik, nagsalita ulit si Zach na tila hindi mapakali.

“Anyway, guys, I have something to share,” -panimula nito. “I actually don't want to talk about it, but it keeps messing with my mind. Yung tadtad na katawan nung tatlong lalaking nasa head quarters, nakita nyo ba 'yon?”

John sighed. “I thought he was going to clean, 'yon pala tayo ulit ang gagawa.”

“He's a shit, I know.”

“Ang tigas ng sikmura putangina.” -sambit naman ni Glenn na nagpatawa sa kanilang lahat. “If he's seriously not my friend, I would fúcking stay away from him.”

Sighing, Kairo didn't say anything. Actually, hinayaan niya talagang gawin ang gusto ni Tyler dun sa tatlong lalaki. Just like his friend, he doesn't care if those bastards die. They deserve it; torturing them is definitely not enough.

On that day, when he witnessed the sight of those helpless women, he lost all motivation to spare the lives of those assholes. The anger within him intensified because it turns out that some of the organizations he encountered were capable of inflicting even greater harm.

“Ano kayang nakain ni Tyler at pumayag syang e-celebrate ang birthday niya?”

Napatitig sya kay Zach nang marinig ang sinabi nito. “Maybe he has reasons,” -sagot naman ni Light. “Alam nyo naman yang si Tyler, palaging may rason ang lahat nang ginagawa.”

Tumikhim siya upang kunin ang atensyon nilang lima. “Jeremy's parents want to introduce someone to him.” -aniya. “His mom told him na ito na yung huling araw na pakikialaman ang buhay niya. And he said yes, because why not? They're talking about his freedom.”

“Freedom? I don't think he needs that,” -sambit ulit ni Glenn. “Bakit kailangan niya pang sundin sila? I mean, his parents sent him to a mental institution, so why the hell would he needs that when he can do that without them?”

Darwin reclined on the couch, appearing uninterested. “Because he doesn't want disturbance. You know Mr. and Mrs. Montellion, they're annoying as shit.”

“Yeah, if I were Tyler too? Gagawin ko rin ang gagawin niya.”

Achelios slowly turns his head from side to side, trying to ease the tension. He's experiencing a bad exhaustion now. He ride a long journey from Manila to Palawan using a helicopter, and he's still feeling worn out. Damn it.
