*TW: brief mentions of self harm*

I took another few days off school because I didn't want questions about the scar on my neck. It's not that easy to cover up. I've opted for scarves and turtlenecks. Plus, I've still been fainting, so staying home was optimal. I've only had 2 seizures since I was bitten, so I'm getting better.

I wish someone could explain what was happening to me.

I've been spending most of my time at the piano, teaching myself different songs, while Isaac watched me like a hawk. I haven't had any seizures in the last 36 hours, so that's a good sign.

"Thea, come here!" My brother yelled from the front door. I didn't even hear anyone knock, so all I'm wondering is who it may be. Bella has already came by today, so I know it's not likely her, so I walked over in curiosity.

To my surprise, Jasper stood in front of the closed door with Isaac, having idle chit chat.

"What's up?" I asked curiously, leaning against the door frame with my arms crossed over my chest and making sure my hair covered the part of my neck where the scar prominently sat.

"An essay needs to be completed for English, and you were paired with Jasper to complete it. I told him to come over to work on it with you." Isaac said, not noticing that Jasper was looking at me with a smile. I don't think the teacher initially partnered me with Jasper. Based on the expression in his eyes, this was his own little scheme.

"Alright, let me shower and change into something more comfortable so that we can get started." I said, receiving a nod from both as I did exactly that.

I showered, and changed into my red plaid pyjama trousers with a white long sleeved t-shirt. I'm not trying to look decent to be fair. I really couldn't care less at the moment. I'm still physically exhausted from the bite. I hate how it takes up to a week to actually bounce back.

"Do you want to get started now?" I rocked on my heels once I reached Isaac's bedroom door since that's where he and Jasper were hanging out for the time being.

"Sure," Jasper stood up, nodding at my brother before leaving the room to follow me to mine.

"It's tidier this time." He chuckled, looking around my room now that there weren't any papers all over the place like last time.

"Yeah, when you're not allowed to do anything, cleaning and organising becomes a hobby." I responded with a slight laugh as I closed my bedroom door.

"So, what's the essay on?" I asked curiously as I picked up my laptop and sat on my bed with it on my lap.

"The first Act of Macbeth, which is basically just the introduction of the characters. We have to write about initial impressions or whatever. Nothing complicated." He handed me a small bunch of papers that had the first Act of Macbeth printed onto them.

"I already know it by heart." I brushed them to the side of me as I felt my bed dip to the side slightly when he took a seat on the bed beside me.

"So, how should we do this? There's 7 parts, so we can split it between us." He was closer to me than I thought he was, because when I turned my head, I felt his hair brush my cheek slightly.
