—————It was a gloomy stormy day in Forks. The large raindrops hit the window, sounding like goofballs were hitting it while I was sitting on my bed.
I was sitting with crossed legs tapping my pencil against my notebook while I continued going over some results of research that I managed to conduct.
Thunder crackled and the lightning lit the sky.
While I was thinking about what to write, I heard something hard hit my window. At first I assumed it might have just been a branch or something, so I ignored it, however, it happened a couple more times and it was beginning to annoy me. So, I got up and looked for my headphones.
As I opened my bedside drawer, my phone screen lit up. I looked at it to see that I had 5 missed calls from an unknown caller, followed by 2 messages saying to look out of my window.
Curiously, and out of utter confusion, I headed over to my window and looked out of it to see an all too familiar blonde vampire standing in my driveway, looking up at my window. My eyes went wide and I furrowed my eyebrows as I practically ran out of my room, down the stairs, and outside to where Jasper was.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked curiously since it had been a little over a week since we last spoke.
"I wanted to come and see if you were alright. You haven't been at school and I don't like that we aren't talking." Jasper explained as my expression softened while looking at him.
"I didn't feel like going. Sorry if I made it feel like it was your fault, because it's not. I'm fine. I really wanted to talk to you, but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea." I assured, receiving a nod as he looked at my neck. "Look, come inside. You're getting soaked." I waved him in, to which he accepted.
"Why would it be a bad idea for you to call me?" He asked curiously. I had to take a deep breath.
"It sounds stupid, but I didn't want to seem clingy, or overbearing. Not to mention, it's nice to have time alone after my brother spent so long breathing down my neck." I let out a light chuckle, taking Jasper's jacket off of him and hanging it up to dry.
"That makes sense, though a text would have been nice." I shrugged.
"I'll keep that in mind for next time."
"I'd much prefer if there wasn't a next time." He laughed, making me smile.
"Noted." His lips pressed against my cheek before we both headed to the kitchen where my father was, which made Jasper freeze up. "He already knows, Jas." I assured, making him ease up while Christian laughed.
"It's nice to see you, Jasper." Christian smiled with amusement.
"You, too." Jasper said awkwardly, now making me laugh as I jumped up to sit on the counter.
"So, what else is there to your visit, pretty boy? I know it's not just to see me." I lent back on my hands while Christian slid a coffee over to me.
"Yes, actually. My father invited you, Isaac and Christian to come and play baseball with us in a few hours on the field in the middle of the forest after the rain clears up." He answered quickly.
