Chapter 27

~Austin~

I wake up inside a small plane. "We are now beginning our decent into Sydney Australia" oh hell no. When the plane lands I walk out and wonder if I have any baggage. I get out to see a man waiting by the entrance. "You Austin" I nod. "Your coming with me" he grabs my arm and pulls me to a black car. We pull up in front of a small apartment building. "This is where you'll live" I go upstairs and find a small dirty apartment. It has a small worn out mattress on the ground, a small well more like tiny kitchen and a window. It wouldn't be THAT bad maybe if it weren't for the circumstances. I go outside and see a pay phone I grab fifty cents and dial Amber's number. "We're sorry the number you have dialed is no longer in service please hang up and try again" no no no. This can't be happening.

I open my eyes and try to get up but I feel a sharp pain in both my thighs. Oh yeah. I look down and see them wrapped in bandages. The door opens and I always expect to see Austin or Jen, but neither of them are real, or alive anymore. I suddenly feel the urge to scream or hit something. I look around the room and notice a few glasses on the bed side table. I pick one up and throw it at the wall. It makes a satisfying smash. I repeat this until James cuts in. I forgot he was there. "How are your legs and arms" he asks sounding unamused. "Fuck off" I say through gritted teeth. "No" he stands his ground. I grab another glass and throw it at his face. It hits him and he falls to the ground. I think I just knocked him out. I get up onto my wobbly legs, and run to the door. I run over to Drew'a house. I ban on the door until he opens it. "You gotta help me!" I whisper/yell. "Come on" he moves over and I step inside. "James h-he killed Jen" Drew stops dead in his tracks he looks at me. "I thought that was suicide?" He almost pleads. I shake my head. "He also killed Austin" I can see tears form in his eyes. A few spill over his eyelids. I was already crying. "I'm sorry Drew" he looks at me. Then he does something I never expected.. He kissed me.
