Chapter 10

~Austin~

I hugged Amber in my arms hoping she would stop having bad dreams. she stirred beneth my hold. I looked down but she was still not having a good sleep. (Sorry this P.O.V is short)

I ran but the big hand grabbed me and yanked me back. They forced me down. "Your mine now" James said. I woke up crying and sweaty in someones arms. I freaked out trying to get away. I looked up to see Austin holding me tightly to his chest. His eyes were red and puffy "were you crying?" I asked. He nodded which kind of surprised me I never thought I would see Austin cry. "why babe?" I said rubbing his back. "because you were having a really bad dream and I couldn't help you... again" he sighed. I then got tears in my eyes remembering the dream I had just had. The tears brimming my eyes were wiped away by Austins thumb. "It's okay baby he can't get you when you are with me" he cooed. "why did josh help him?" I asked Austin just started shaking his head. "I don't know princess but he wont do it again I promise." He said gently to me. I got up and decided to see what damage had been done on my skin. I looked in the mirror and gasped, my face was covered in bruises. I looked at my arms and saw big hand marks and finger marks all over. I gasped and tried to stay upright. My hair was in a mat and my face looked like it had permanent hand marks across its surface. I turned on the shower and slowly pulled my shirt up. My stomach had hand marks on it too from James holding me down by it. I sighed and slowly stepped into the shower realizing that I hadn't showered in two weeks... gross. I tried to get the knots out of my hair, I got most of them out. When I stopped the shower and looked behind the shower curtain I saw Austin standing there with a big fluffy towel, arms opened wide almost like he was waiting for a hug. I stepped out trying to hide the bruises on my torso but he noticed and folded the towel in his arms. I covered my breasts feel self conscious since he was staring at me. "Amber you don't have to cover yourself like that" he said. I decided to argue it "Yes I do these marks are embarrassing!" I said. Austin frowned at me and said "Amber let me see I need to see if you have any really bad injury's!" he pulled my arms to my side and spun me around slowly. I was shivering because I was freezing. Austin then grabbed the huge fluffy towel and wrapped It around my body. He held me close to his body and i was just happy that he stopped inspecting me. "D-did you tell Jen anything?" Austin looked at me and said "she is coming over in five minutes, she wanted to come over last night but I said no since you were tired" I sighed thinking about all the questions she would ask me. I grabbed some sweats and the school sweater that had Austin's last name on it. I tried to cover most of the bruising up with but i only got the hand marks mostly covered.
