I'm sad about leaving today. Mainly because I have to leave Jack. I gloomily continue folding my clothes when Jack comes in. I run into his arms and he sits down. I don't feel the tears until he wipes them away. "Hey don't cry beautiful... I wasn't going to tell you this but I might come back up for your birthday" I smile. "That's awesome but I'm still going to miss you." He smiles this time. "I'll miss you too, believe it or not I'll miss Austin too" I laugh. "Do you like him? I mean I don't want to date someone you don't like" "he's awesome. I think he'll treat you right and if he doesn't something is wrong and you should help him out". I smile "thanks Jack" I get up and continue packing. Just as Jack leaves Austin enters. "Hey babe I already packed your other bag for you." I kiss his cheek. "Thank you babe" I smile and zip up my bag. We load everything in the truck and I run over to Jack. I wrap my arms around him and sob a few times. After a few minutes of hugging I feel Austin tap my shoulder "babe we need to get going" I nod not trusting my voice. I hug Jack one more time then hug my parents. "Bye Jack" I say while getting in my new truck. As soon as we got back into cell service I got a text from Jen.

We seriously need to talk.

"Ugh" I sigh. Austin looks over "what is it babe?" I sigh again "something's wrong with Jen" "oh" Austin says. I call Jen as soon as we get home.

~phone call~

Jen: hey uh I don't know how to say this

Amber: hey and what it can't be that bad

Jen: okay but don't freak out imdatingjames

She says all in one breath

Amber: WHAT THE HELL? YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID TO ME AND YOU DATE HIM?!?!?!?!

Jen: I'm sorry Amber

Amber: whatever talk to me when you get smarter bye.

God dammit. I knew it I just wrecked our friendship. But she doesn't know that he's forcing me to do this. He said he would kill her if I didn't date him. So here I am dating this shitbag. "JEN!" I hear him yell. "Coming" I squeak. He's probably just going to rape me again. Oh well all I have to remember is that this is for Amber.

I can't believe her. She's my best friend and she's daring the guy that raped me?! This is so stupid. My life is stupid. I didn't tell Austin yet I don't know if I ever will. I check the time 12:00 A.M. Damn and there's school tomorrow. Oh well I'll talk some sense in her eventually.

~Two weeks later~

I haven't talked to Jen since she told me about James. But why would he do this? He obviously doesn't like her I mean I've actually never seen them kiss or hug at school. It's just so messed up I can't believe her. Austin is worried about me because right after school I just sit in this chair and think about Jen. James hates Jen. He would never come over if she was over. So why would he date her? Suddenly it dawned on me. I grabbed my phone and ran out the door. I booked it to James's house.
