"Sure"I say trying to smile but fail miserably.
"Why are you avoiding me,?"Theo asks .
"I'm not.."I lie.

"Really Val,you refused to sit with me in English,and the rest of the classes,you ran away from me from the cafeteria,you acted like I was not there during self defense and you've barely talked to me since the dance"he says looking at me.

"I... Theo.. well"I try but I don't know how to explain everything.

"Do you regret kissing me"Theo asks taking a step towards me.

"No I don't"I say truthfully,the kiss might have been unexpected but I don't regret kissing him.

"Then what's the problem,talk to me Val,"he says softly touching my shoulder.

"You"I say and I look up to see him .He looks confused.

"Me?"he asks.

"After you kissed me,I thought you regretted it and I didn't know what to think,I don't know if you meant it or it was just the heat of moment,the look in your eyes pushed me away,it scared me away,I thought you regretted that kiss."I rumble trying to make sense of the words in my head.

"Why would you think that"he asks.

"Because you're Theo, you can have any girl you want and I'm just Val"I reply looking down.

"Look at me"He says and I look up to meet his eyes"Val you are not just any girl, you are amazing".
"Maybe it was your eyes,or your laugh or your smile,heck maybe even your hair,or your voice or personality or maybe it's the fact that you tackled me down in self defense or maybe it was everything about you that made me like you,I don't know, but what I do know Val is that I like you,I really do"He says and I'm literally speechless,Theo likes me.

"Theo I don't know what to say"I say truthfully.

"I do,Will you go out with you Val "he asks and I just stare at him in shock.
I mean Theo looks like a great guy,but this is huge.

"Theo,I think you're a great guy,but I just need some time,..."I start but Theo cuts me off.

"I understand Val,take as long as you need,"he says and I smile.

"Thanks for understanding,"I say to him.

"Thanks for talking to me, goodnight Val see you in class"Theo says smiling and he begins to walk away .He reaches the exit and then he looks back.
I smile at him and he reciprocates it before walking out.
I quickly head to my room and luckily enough I find,Mal asleep.
I crawl into bed and close my eyes.
I like you,I really do.
And finally I fall asleep.

Luckily Mal slept early and didn't know I came back late yesterday,so atleast I don't have to tell Bree or her anything yet not until I clear things out with Theo.
"Did you talk to him"Bree asks as we enter the main campus building.
"No.."I lie. I can't tell them the truth right now.
"I'm telling you Val,if you don't talk to him by the end of the day,I'm literally gonna drag you to his room until you talk"Mal threatens and I laugh.
"Okay,Mal anyway see you guys later"I say to them as we seperate.
I'm taking my time walking to class, because I don't know how to talk to Theo .I know he said I should take my time,but the I can't keep on dragging this.
I arrive in class and notice he's already here.
So is Asher but strangely no Alexa.
"Hey"I say sitting next to Theo.
"Hi"he says and I look at Theo,he looks nervous and I can't help but smile.
"I've been thinking..."I start but he cuts me off.
"Listen Val,if you really don't want to go out with me,I understand"he says raking his hands through his hair.

"I do"I say and he looks surprised.
"Really"he asks smiling.
"Yes but Theo I want us to take this slow,get to know each other better before jumping into something more serious.No boyfriend and girlfriend titles,just us"I say.
"So then what are we"he asks.
"Theo and Valentina"I reply.
"That's more than enough for me"he says smiling looking at me.
"With that being said,I need you to help with my math homework"I say removing my notebook.
"Seriously Val"Theo asks pretending to be serious.
"What you are my Theo after all"I say attempting to wink at him only for him to laugh.
"Val,I'll help you with your homework,just stop winking"Theo says with a small laugh.
I don't know if going out with Theo is the best idea,but it's worth a shot. Asher and Alexa moved on and it's time I do too.
"Val"Theo calls out.
"Yes?"I reply.
"I'm not a rebound for Asher right"he asks and I can tell his serious.
Honestly he isn't,right now he's just a guy I'm getting to know better.
"No"I say smiling at him and he smiles back before refocusing on what he was doing.
"Sit with me at lunch"Theo says smiling.
"Nope"I say and he fakes getting hurt.
"Worth a shot"he says and I laugh.

I'm not a rebound for Asher,right?.
