CHAPTER THIRTY SIX.

VALENTINA.

My head is currently pounding ,my body is numb and my eyelids are currently to heavy to lift.
I groan loudly as I lift my right hand to my head,and try to change my position but someone's hand on my waist makes it impossible to move,I try to sit up but a a sharp pain shoots through my head causing me to lie back down.I look next to me and Theo is sleeping peacefully,I reach for his hair with a slight smile.
"Val?,"Theo mumbles pulling me closer to him.
"Wake up,"I whisper removing some stray hairs from his face.

Theo stirs in his sleep but he doesn't wake up.

"This headache is killing me,"Theo mumbles rubbing his eyes.

"I think we had a little too much to drink,"I say slowly sitting up.

"Where are you going,"Theo whines reaching for my hand.

"I need to shower,and make us breakfast, we'll feel better once we've had something to eat,"I say looking at him as he slowly opens his eyes.

"I can't let you do that,"Theo says stretching.

"Theo I..."

"No,I'm your boyfriend and today it's me taking care of you,"He argues.

"But your headache,"I ask.

"I'll make some strong coffee,that always helps my dad,"he says.

"I can help....,"I offer but he just smiles.

"I know you can help but I want to do this for you,so just take a shower and come downstairs okay,"he says and I smile.

He heads out of my room and I get up to take a shower.
After the shower my headache feels better,I put on an oversized shirt and some shorts.my hair isn't yet fully dry so I leave it as it is.

I head downstairs and I find Theo sipping on his coffee.

"Took you long enough,"he comments smirking and checking me out,"you look like a snack right now ,"he adds and I chuckle.
He steps forward but I playfully push him away.

"Hands to yourself Mendez,"I say and he laughs.

"Okay,"he says lifting up his hands before continuing,"breakfast?"he asks gesturing to the stack of pancakes and bacon and the counter.

"Sure,"I say sitting sitting on the stool next to his.

"And here you go,"Theo says handing me a cup of coffee as he takes his seat.

"Thanks,"I say as I began to fix up a plate for myself.

We eat breakfast in comfortable silence with Theo passing a few flirting comments here and there.
I help him clean up the kitchen when we are done.

"I should shower and probably head home,my parents must be waiting for me,"he says as he head upstairs.

"No problem,I'll see if I have any clothes you can borrow,"I reply as we enter my room.

Theo heads to the shower and I go to my closet to try and find something for him.
I manage to come across my old school oversized track suit.
I lay it out on the bed and inform Theo,I'll be downstairs.
I text my friends as I wait for Theo but none of them reply,they must still be in bed.

"I'm done,"Theo announces descending from the stairs."Val I'm not really sure about this track suit,"he adds and I smile.

"Well,I think it looks good on you,"I say walking towards him.

"I really don't want to go,"Theo says playing with my slightly damp hair.

"But you have to,your parents will be worried about you,"I say to him .

"I guess,I have to go now but I'll call you as soon as I get home,"he says.

"Okay,"I say hugging him.He hugs me back and after a few seconds we let go of each other.

"I'll see you later,"I says and he smiles before walking towards the door.

"Wait,I forgot something,"Theo says walking towards me.

"What,"I ask and before I know it, Theo's lips are on mine.
I put my arms around his neck and he puts his hands around my waist.

"God,I feel like I'm addicted to you,"he says pulling away.

"You have to go,"I say jokingly

"I miss you already,"he says and I smile.
I reach for his face and I place a small kiss on his cheek.

"Bye,"he says letting me go and walking away.
After a few minutes I hear him drive off and I feel lonely once again.

I'm about to head to my room when Bree calls me.

"Hey Bree,"I say picking up.

"Val,you won't believe this,I have something important to tell you,,"

"What is it?"

"It's concerning your dad,I think I just found a major breakthrough,but I can't tell you over the phone,"

"Really?where are you,I'll come meet you there,"

"I'm driving to Lucy's dinner,we can meet up there,"

"Are you driving while talking to me,"

"Relax,I pulled over,now get your pretty face over here ,"

"Okay,I'll be there in 15 minutes,"

"Alright then ,I'll talk to you later, bye,love you ,"

"Love you too,"I say ending the call.

I decide to change my clothes into more diner appropriate wear.i put on some boyfriend jeans and a cute top with some sandals.i pull my hair into a ponytail,I don't bother to wear make up because it's just Bree I'm going to see.
I quickly call for a cab and soon I'm on my way there.

I really hope this is the breakthrough I've been hoping for.

I arrive at the diner ten minutes later,and I spot Bree eating alone in one of the booths.

"Hey,"I say sitting opposite her.

"Hey,"she says wiping  her mouth.

"Is Mal joining us,"I ask.

"Nah,she's totally hangover,she had a little too much to drink last night,"Bree says.

"Poor thing,I had a Terrible hangover too but it's gone now,"I state and I see Bree grinning.

"Does it have anything to do with the blonde haired boy who spent a night at your house,?"she asks and my jaw drops.

"Nothing of that sort happened,I can't remember much from last night,but I do remember Theo dropping me off,and somehow he ended up spending a night "I say trying to recollect yesterday's events.

"You guys were totally so cute last night,he literally took care of you the entire night, despite him being drunk as well,"Bree gushes and I just smile."Anyway that's not why I called you here,"she adds removing her PC from her bag.

"I'm nervous,"I admit as Bree opens her laptop.

"Don't be, everything will be fine,trust me,"she says reaching for my hand and I smile at her gesture.

Everything will be fine.
