" Multiply 8 by 3 and add it to 6 and you have your answer for X"Theo boasts as he solves the question I've been struggling with for the past ten minutes .Its currently math and  our teacher has left us work.

"Show off"I state rolling my eyes and he laughs.

"You can't be good at everything Val "he replies focusing back on his book .Theo is like a math prodigy and someone with his intelligence should be taking advanced math like Mal and Bree,but I guess he likes the easy road like us.

"Whatever,why are you even in this class"I ask him.

"Because my major is combat and Weaponry,and I'm beginning to like it here"he says winking at me.

"Really,Theo we are still  doing the cheesy pick up lines "I say rolling my eyes.

"One day Val,my charm is gonna work on you"he says smirking and slap my forehead.I'm about to answer him when the bell rings signaling the end of our morning classes.

"Hey Val,wanna sit with me and friends at lunch"Theo asks getting up.

"Nah my friends and I will be fine at our table"I reply packing my books.

"Okay,let me atleast walk you to the cafeteria,"Theo says sitting on top a desk.

"You're not taking no for an answer are you"I ask zipping up my bag.

"Nope"he says extending his hand to help me get up.
We begin walking out of class,when we bump into Asher.

"Valentine"Asher acknowledges me and just glares at Theo before walking out.

"That was weird,"I say looking at Theo."does it have anything to do with the fight you had "I ask him and he laughs .

"Somethings are better left unsaid,Val "he says still smiling.

"Okay..."I breathe out and we continue walking in comfortable silence.
We arrive at the cafe and immediately we step inside
every one is looking at us .I mean who wouldn't I just walked in with their precious head boy.

"See you later Val"Theo says walking over to his table .
I get my lunch tray and walk over to our table where I find Bree and Mal  staring at me.

"Hey guys..."I say to them .

"You just walked in with Theo"Mal states looking at me suspiciously.

"So..."I ask.

"What's going on between you too,I saw being all friendly in self defense but I didn't think anything of it until now"Bree says raising a brow.

"Guys there's seriously nothing going on between us,we just sat together in class no biggie"I reply digging into my Mac and cheese.

"Whatever you say,Val but I'll be watching closely"Mal and I laugh.

"Suit yourself"I say and we begin talking about something else .The rest of lunch goes by so quickly.

I have  to skip my weapon management class today because of the dance committee meeting which I'm currently at right now.
Bree is reading out the drafted roles for each of us.

"...and that leaves Mal and Jenny who will be in charge of the sound system and Valentina with Asher will be in charge of music"Bree reads out before looking at me and giving me an apologetic look.
She should be sorry.
"Alright ,we need to draft up the  budget by the end of today,I need you to come up with a list of things you need in your prospective groups,so let's get to work"Theo says and everyone scatters.
I walk over to Bree who's instructing some juniors on what to do.
"Bree a moment please..."I say to her,she excuses herself and comes to join me.

"Bree really,Asher"I say folding my arms on my chest.

"You didn't want to do anything else,I had to put you somewhere"she defends."you could always switch partners with the juniors"she adds shrugging.
I glare at her before finally walking away.
"I love you for life"Bree calls out to me. And even though I'm mad at her I can't help but smile.
I begin looking for Asher and I spot him in the audience sitting alone mindlessly scrolling through the tablet.I walk over and he seems oblivious to my presence.

"Hey"I say taking a seat next to him.
"Valentine,hey"he says with a slight smile.
"So you've already come up with a playlist"I say looking over at the tablet.
"Nah,I was waiting for you"he says looking at me.
"Okay,but I'll be honest I know nothing about coming up with playlists"I say and i see his smile grow.
"Me neither,let's just wing it"he say and I laugh.
He hands me the tablet and we begin trying to come up with a playlist. For a moment we are getting along so well,I forget about  the  huge unspoken gap between us .By the  end of our discussion,we are standing in front of Bree with no playlist.

"Maybe we just just let the juniors handle the music for now"Bree says with a sweet smile after seeing our "playlist."

"I think that will be a great idea"I say laughing before Bree walks away.
The rest of the afternoon I'm just watching people running around trying to come up with budgets.

"Alright guys that's it for today thanks for coming"Bree says dismissing us.

"Hey Val,if you're free we can start working on our assignment this evening in the library"Asher says to me.

"Yah sure"I reply.

"Great,I'll pick you up at 8 from the common room"He says before walking away.
Soon Bree and Mal finish up and we head back to our dorm.
"See you at supper girls"Bree says going to her room.
"I'm so tired,"Mal complains as reach our room and collapses on her bed.
I follow suit and decide to take a short nap before supper.
