"Where are we going,"I ask Theo excitedly as he makes a turn.
"You'll see,"he replies focusing on the road.
"Ugh just tell me the suspense is killing me,"I say jokingly and he laughs.
"We're almost there anyway,just be patient,"he says looking at me and I smile at him.
"Whatever,I just hope I'm not over dressed or underdressed,"I mumble and I feel Theo's hand on mine.
"Val,"he Starts ,"you look amazing for tonight,so don't worry,"he assures me.
"Okay,"I reply.
"By the way,where's the engagement ring I gave you,"he says sounding serious and I can't help but laugh.
"You mean the candy ring,"I say
"Yah,where is it,"he asks.
"I ate it,"I say and he stares at me for a second before laughing.
"I guess,I have to get you another proper one then,"he says.
"Make it vanilla this time,"I reply jokingly and he laughs.
"I'll keep that in mind,"he says letting go of my hand.
"We are here,"Theo says and my eyes look around to try and identify this place.
"Where are we,?"I ask as he parks the car.
"You'll see,"he says getting down and I follow suit.
"Come,"he says holding my hand as we walk towards the building.
"Theo,what a pleasant surprise,"the man by the reception says immediately he says Theo.
"It's nice seeing you again Walter,"Theo says and the man smiles and his eyes drift to me.
"I've never seen her before,who is she,"Walter asks Theo.
"This is Val,my girlfriend,"Theo says putting his arm around me and I blush slightly.
"Oh I see,nice meeting miss Val,"Walter says and I smile.
I reply,"likewise,".
"Is the ring empty,"Theo asks.
"There still a few folks around but it's pretty much empty,"Walter says,"shall I sign you in?".
"Yes please,,"Theo says and Walter types away on his computer before giving Theo some keys.
"Thanks,"he says as we walk away.
"Are we seriously at a boxing ring for a date,?"I ask curiously.
"What gave it away,"he asks teasingly.
"The name on the building,"I reply sarcastically and he laughs.
"I thought it would be a great bonding experience,"Theo says and I look at him weirdly and he laughs.
We enter a room that looks like an office and it's basically empty.
Theo walks to over to the bookshelf and pulls out a book before pressing the button under it.
The bookshelf opens and there's a whole elevator behind it.
"Come,"Theo says gesturing for me to follow him.
"In those weird movies this is the moment where you kidnap me,"I say lazily and he laughs.
"Why would I want to kidnap you,"he says and laughs again as we enter the elevator.
"Because,you're secretly an evil villain pretending to be good,but I must warn you,i know how to fight and I'll escape easily,"I say and the elevator closes.
He takes in his in mine and looks at me,"in that case,you must know that no matter where you are,I'll always find you,"he says.
"Is that a threat?,"I ask jokingly.
"More like a promise,and a threat,but in this case it's a promise,"he says and I smile.
The elevator dings and the doors open.
"Theo!"a pretty red head says running up to us. As if on instinct Theo's tightens his grip.
"Star,hi,"Theo says hardly smiling.
"Didn't think I'd ever see you here again,"Star says tracing her fingers on Theo's torso, completely ignoring my presence.
Theo removes her hand with his free hand,"Star it was nice meeting you but I have to go,"Theo says without waiting for a response and walking away with me.
"I'm assuming it's an ex girlfriend,"I say as he pulls me through the moderate crowd.
"I wish,more like an obsessive friend,anyway that's a story for another day, tonight I brought you here to watch the game,"He says,I look around and that's when I notice the boxing ring in the middle,with people surrounding it dressed in boxing gear.
"There's a boxing game,"I say excitedly.
"Yes,do you like it,"he asks.
"Are you kidding me,I love it,"I say hugging him instinctively and he hugs me back.
"I'm going to get some snacks,wanna come,?"he asks.
"I'll be fine,"I say. He smiles at me before walking away.
"So you're Theo's new toy,"
I turn around and find star glaring at me.
"With all that flirting you tried to do,I'm surprised you noticed me,"I say with a small smile. Something about her doesn't sit right with me.
"Of course I'd notice you, you're sticking out like sore thumb,"she says and I already feel my patience running out,"let me guess you're Daddy's sweet little girl,this isn't the place for Innocent weaklings like you,"she adds smirking.
"For a person who you met minutes ago that's a very strong judgement you have of me,"I say trying not to show any emotions.
"I know girls like you,you're all the same,"she says and my patience has run out.
"Do you do boxing,"I ask and she looks at me shocked.
"Of course I'm a champion around here,but of course you wouldn't know because places like these aren't meant for girls like you,"she says placing her hands on her hips.
"I challenge you to a fight,one round,"I say and she looks at me in disbelief.
She flips her hair over her shoulder before walking away towards the ring.
"Hey everyone,"she says as soon as she gets the music,"little miss daddy's princess over there has challenged me to a fight,"she says and everyone looks at me.
Some gasp,others look sympathetic and others excited.
"Consider it a nice pre-friendly game before the main event,I'll meet you back in the ring in ten minutes,miss daddy's princess,"she says looking at me for a minute longer before walking away.
"Valentina,why is everyone looking at you,I hope star wasn't talking about you,"Theo asks and I look at me.
"Find me some boxing gear,"I say and Theo holds my shoulders.
"Val,"he says,"you don't have to do this you have nothing to prove to star,I Know you're amazing isn't that enough,"Theo says and his eyes soften.
"You're right I don't have to prove anything to anyone,but someone needs to teach star not to judge a book by its cover,"I say.
"Are you sure,star is pretty good,"Theo says.
"100%,now find me some gear,"I say and Theo looks at me worriedly.
"You're not really backing down are you?,"He sighs."Walter has some extra gear,let's go ask if we can borrow some,"Theo says and I smile at him.
