With five minutes left in the fourth and final quarter, we were behind Kirisaki Dai Ichi by six points. We all huddled around the bench, wiping our sweat away with the towels Riko provided during the break. I glanced around the stadium, my cherry-colored eyes stopping at the demon in the room. He must have felt the heavy weight of my glare since he turned around, smirking. I casually used my right hand as if to rub my eye, only to stick my middle finger up, using it to pull the skin underneath my eye down. To go along with it, I discreetly stuck my tongue out at Hanamiya. I watched with satisfaction as he trembled with anger, glowering at me.

"Oi!" I felt someone slap my back of my head, causing me to stumble forward. "Stop antagonizing them."

"Gahh!" I shouted out. I rubbed the back of my head, "Tch." Whirling around, I was faced with the stern expression of Hyuga towering over me. I angled my head away from the intimidating captain, sighing reluctantly.

"Hai, hai." When Hyuga and the others left to go back onto the court, I followed behind, muttering to myself, "I can't even have fun while beating Hanamiya's ass down."

My lips curled into a sadistic grin as a glint appeared in my eyes. "Oh well, just destroying him will be enough to satisfy me."

——————-

Not being able to evade Hanamiya, Izuki saw Kagami running his way and took a chance, passing the ball over to the tiger. With Hara running alongside Kagami, I knew it was futile to pass it to the guarded power forward. Out of the corner of my eyes, I noticed a flash of blue and grinned. Kuroko.

My grin widened when Kuroko shoved the ball away from Hara's grasp and into my awaiting hands. I instantly jumped up, flicking my right wrist. The orange ball soared into a high arc, swishing the net roughly.

"Yatta!" I heard the others cheer from the bench. Collectively, Seirin ran back to our side of the court, waiting for the ball to enter our side. The fast-paced action kept the ball jumping between hands, not pausing for a moment. That is, until Hanamiya blocked Hyuga, who had the ball in his possession. Hyuga angled his body slightly away from the crazed teen, using his left arm as a shield in front of the ball that he was dribbling with his right hand.

"You think you can do anything without Kiyoshi?" Hanamiya taunted our captain. My eyes narrowed, focused on the dirty-mouthed guy. "Who's next after that piece of junk?"

Hyuga tensed even more, the veins in his neck prominent. Next thing I knew, Hyuga attempted to fake out Hanamiya, only to have that backfired. Hanamiya slapped the ball away, pushing it into our side of the court. Hyuga and Hanamiya raced after the orange orb, regardless of it rolling away from them. When the ball rolled to a stop in front of Teppei, the two #4's came to a halt. A startled look of realization flickered across Hyuga's tense face as he and Teppei shared a look between them. I smiled softly, turning around to run back into position. Whatever Hyuga realized, I knew that we would definitely make a come-back with his reliable three pointers. He had found his purpose in this game.

Izuki tossed the ball slightly off center, towards Hyuga. Our captain quickly side-stepped past Furuhashi. The brunette whipped around, ready to chase after Hyuga, only to be screened by me. A feral grin found its way onto my lips as I smiled at the taller teen.

"Yo, fish eyes."

"Tch, it's you," Furuhashi clucked. My grin became wider when he recognized the cruel nickname Seirin dubbed him. Because I was seven inches shorter to his 6'1", my head only came up to his chest, just barely grazing past his sternum. I wasn't above using my short stature to my advantage, especially not against dirty players such as Kirisaki Dai Ichi. With my height and position, I shoved back at my opponent, using my biceps to push against his. Once again, I witnessed Kuroko from the corner of my eye misdirecting the ball over to Hyuga.
