Oi, oi, what is he trying to do to Kuroko?! I was terrified for my friend as the giant’s hand reached out to the mass of blue hair.
“I’m just kidding,” the purple-haired teen replied good-naturally. An expression that I’ve never seen before on Kuroko flitted through his stormy eyes. I narrowed my eyes in thought to realize that my normally calm teammate was… angry. I paled when Kuroko’s hand flew up to smack away the other teen’s hand from mussing with his hair further.
“Please don’t do that.”
“Oh? Are you mad? I’m sorry,” Murasakibara apologized, not sounding very convincing. I inched closer to Kagami unconsciously, feeling uneasy with the Yosen’s center.
“I thought you weren’t coming,” Himuro interrupted. I nearly sighed with relief at the break in the tension between the two ex-teammates.
“Actually, it’s your fault for changing our meeting place at the last second.” Murasakibara tossed the ball to Himuro, slightly pouting. “I only came because you said you want to go sightseeing around Tokyo since you came back to Japan.” The purple-haired giant reached into his grocery bag and pulled out a bag of chips, opening them.
“But you’re playing street ball,” he sighed as he stuffed the chips into his mouth.
“Sorry, sorry,” Himuro replied, glancing over at his teammates. So this is Yosen’s team, I thought, cupping my chin in my right hand. Based on Himuro’s playing style and jump, I thought he was the center, but Murasakibara’s the center. Himuro must be the shooting guard of the team then. We’re going to have to watch out for the two of them. Seeing their compatibility together, I have a feeling that they work really well together. Just like Kuroko and Kagami, Kasamatsu and Kise, and Takao and Midorima.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the conversation shift to a different topic.
“Oh yeah, Muro-chin, we can’t play in unofficial games. That’s why I came here to stop you.”
“I see…” Himuro brought his hand up, rubbing his chin in thought. “That’s a shame.”
“That’s why. Let’s go.” With that, Murasakibara placed a large hand on his teammate’s shoulder and directed him away.
“Wait a minute!” I slapped my forehead with the palm of my head, silently berating the stupid red-head. “You can’t just barge in here and leave like that. Stay a while and play.” I watched as Murasakibara turned around, narrowing his eyes at his obstacle.
“What’s going on with your eyebrows? Why are they split in two?”
“………”
“………”
“Pfft!!” I snickered into my hands, laughing at the unexpected question. Suddenly, Murasakibara reached over and ripped a part of Kagami’s eyebrow off, causing me to laugh harder.
“Wahh! What are you doing?!”
“Wow, they’re so long…”
