*Psst! I'm so excited to see what Aomine says next! Kyaaa!!*
------------------------------
Recap:“Give that back!” I snatched the wig from his unsuspecting hand and gathered the bobby pins lying on the floor. A few seconds of silence passed among the three of us as we didn’t know exactly what to say.
“You have a red wig?” Aomine finally asked. “I understand why.” Realization dawned in his dark blue orbs. Kise nervously shifted his eyes toward me, but I stared straight at Aomine.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. You're…”
------------------------------
“Yeah. You’re ashamed of having long pink hair like a girl," concluded Aomine, lightly pounding his fist into his open palm. I sweat-dropped, this guy definitely brought the AHO in Ahomine to a whole new level… I was about to open my mouth to respond back to Aomine, but Kise's loud mouth beat me to it.
“No, Aominecchi!! He’s a girl! The he is a she! Masamicchi!” shouted Kise. I slowly blinked my eyes and then lightly knocked my palm against my forehead, trying to make sure I heard Kise correctly.
“Excuse me, Kise, can you repeat that? I don’t think I heard you correctly.”
The said blonde turned to look at me, flabbergasted. “Masamicchi, you’re a girl. You have been disguised as a boy to play basketball. You know this better than me!” I rubbed my eyelids with my fingertips, trying to clear my vision.
“I think I’m hearing things. I’m going to go home and sleep this off.” I turned around and was about to walk away when I was forcefully pulled back. A small squeal of surprise escaped from my lips.
“Oi, tell me, what is Kise talking about?” The deep voice behind me rumbled. I nervously glanced towards Kise, with the intent of strangling him after we got out of this mess, but only to find him looking away from me. He’s no help…AT. ALL.
“It’s true,” I finally sighed. “My name is Fujioka Masami, age sixteen, female. I’ve been playing as a boy and my teammates, Kise, and Midorima know about it.” I looked up, meeting the intense stare of the taller boy’s. His eyebrows were furrowed and his mouth was at a slant.
“A girl…? Are you sure you’re a girl?” His blue eyes travelled from my eyes downwards. I followed his gaze down to my chest. Flushing in embarrassment, I reacted quickly – punching the aho in the guts.
“Oomph!”
“You AHO! BAKA! TEME!” I shouted, continuing to punch him wherever I could – his arms, stomach, chest, and shoulders.
“Oi! Kise! Help me!” growled Aomine.
“M-masamicchi, I-I think Aominecchi is sorry now,” the blonde offered tentatively. I gave a final huff before ceasing my punching fury. Spinning around on the balls of my feet, I turned around to face Kise.
“Kise-kun, I’ll just talk to you later. I have this sudden urge to kill someone, but I would definitely go to jail for life if I did that, so I’m going home.” With that, I headed in the direction of my house to get ready for ballet.

[Kagami’s POV]
The moment Masami turned around to leave, I quickly grabbed Kuroko’s collar and dragged him along with me. Shit, shit, shit! We have to make sure Masami doesn’t catch us!
“Kagami-kun,” Kuroko’s voice interrupted my train of thoughts. “Why are we running?”
“So we won’t get caught by Masami, baka!” I panicked.
“So Kagami-kun doesn’t want Masami-chan to know that we were eavesdropping?” I swore I heard Kuroko smirking in that statement.
“No! We, err, we were looking out for her! That’s right!” I raised a fist to the sky, pleased with my excuse.
“Alright, Kagami-kun.” Kuroko’s short yet amused reply caused me to sweat-drop. I shook my head at Kuroko.
“Yosh! We have to make sure she doesn’t see us!” I whispered to my partner-in-crime. We snuck around the building that we were hiding behind and watched Masami head home. Until she was just a speckle in the distance, Kuroko and I then headed back to our houses.
We arrived at our respected houses safely within minutes. After showering, I threw myself onto my bed, exhausted after today’s ordeals. Millions of thought ran through my mind, but with the majority of them being wrapped around Masami.
What was Kise going to tell her? Does he like Masami? Was he going to tell her that he was playing for her? Man, I can’t believe Aomine found out about Masami! That Aomine better not do anything to Masami…wait, why am I getting all defensive about her? Baka! She’s just a friend. Yeah…just a friend and a teammate.
I sighed, rolling around in my bed. Feeling confused and frustrated, I decided to play it safe – just like how a teammate and a friend should.

[Masami’s POV]
I trudged home after ballet, bouncing my basketball on the sidewalk as I continued my way home. I don’t want to go home…Not yet. I sighed, breathing out a loud huff of breath. An idea occurred to me, causing me to smile. I took a detour and headed for the basketball court that wasn’t too far away from me on my way home. I shrugged my duffle bag off my shoulder and faced the hoop, bouncing the basketball.
I quickly went into my drive, running zigzags down the court, dodging my invisible opponents.
“Fake left, twist 360, switch hands. Don’t stop!” I whispered, narrating my movements. “Look right and push ball to the left. Reach behind him with left hand. Grab it and drive! Right foot jump! Bring feet up and 360 twist! Dunk!”
I grasped the hoop, suspending in the air for a couple of seconds before dropping down neatly. I watched as the ball bounced a few inches away before rolling to a stop. Ahomine…you’re really too stupid for your own good. I glanced up at the dark sky that was speckled with tiny stars. I really hope that this isn’t the end for me. My path can’t just end here! I clenched my hands together into a fist. I’ll find Aomine tomorrow and ask him not to tell anyone! Mhm! I nodded my head, satisfied with my idea.
I’ll do whatever it takes. No matter the cost!
