However, when Yeonjun and Ryujin left the school building together, the girl suddenly stopped because Soobin, the girl's friend and Taehyun were waiting for her friend in front of the school.

"What is it?" asked Yeonjun, looking at her questioningly.

Was she refusing to see the others?

Or was it Yewon who didn't want to see her?

"You don't have to talk to her," he whispered, then looked briefly at his friends, who were already eyeing her in confusion.

"I wasn't even going to talk to anyone," Ryujin replied, narrowing his eyes. It wasn't just because of Yewon. In general, the situation was a bit tense between them. "I know I'm no saint, but you know how hard it is for me to apologize."

"I know, just don't say anything for now," he said with a thin smile. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

He looked at her again with a questioning look.

Sighing, Ryujin stuffed her hands into her uniform jacket and nodded silently, then followed Yeonjun to his friends and their new addition. As a greeting, the girl nodded to the group and looked at the slightly surprised faces, however, it was Soobin who gave the girl a hug.

"Cool to have you back!" he said with a smile.

There was also a calm smile on Taehyun's lips and he patted the girl lightly on the back in a chummy manner. "I can only agree with that statement," he said, even though he had often found fault with the girl's behavior. She belonged in the group, but he was also aware that it took more than mere hugs and pats on the back.

"Yeah, for now," Ryujin said quietly, shrugging her shoulders. She wasn't quite convinced about the whole thing yet.

Soobin instead immediately changed the subject, not wanting Yewon to feel uncomfortable. "So come on, let's repaint Yeonjun, maybe his dad will be so distracted by the new look that he'll forget about detention right away."

"The school already informed him anyway, I think," Yeonjun muttered with a pinched expression, scratching the back of his head tensely. He felt Ryujin's questioning gaze on him and returned it with an embarrassed laugh. "I wanted to change the mop on my head sometime," he said, pointing to his blue mane.
