While Soobin fetched some bottles from the cupboard and placed them on the kitchen island, he was amusedly eyed by his steady girlfriend. There was no mistaking that Yewon liked the sight, and the feminine giggle she sometimes gave off made Soobin grin as well. Taehyun, meanwhile, was sitting on the couch in the living room, typing away on his cell phone as if he were already drifting off into another world. It was clear that he was chatting with his girlfriend, and Yeonjun detached his gaze from the redhead to focus it on the mug in his hand. He leaned against the kitchen island and finally sipped his drink in silence, letting it bob around a bit and the ice cubes tinkle.
"Hey," Ryujin murmured after finding the blond alone and without Beomgyu in the kitchen. Her voice was meek, but still clearly audible to Yeonjun, and the guilty conscience could be seen on her face. "Trouble in paradise because of me?" she asked him, gesturing to the fact that Beomgyu was nowhere near him.
Yeonjun lowered his cup again, then seemed to consider and lifted his shoulder ignorantly.
"I haven't told him about Jinhyung yet," he said quietly, so Yewon wouldn't hear, sensing that it was bothering him himself. "I didn't want him to worry, but he seems so silent somehow."
"Did you tell him anything at all?", Ryujin wanted to know with a small frown.
Confused, Yeonjun sipped the vodka again, which made his throat tingle a bit. "What do you mean by at all? I tell him everything ... except for just the things that might worry him." And he knew he shouldn't do that, at the same time he was just trying to protect him. At all, because Beomgyu was going through a hard time right now.
The girl shook her head, because she wasn't completely convinced.
"You're doing it again, Vio," Ryujin admonished her buddy, who always started to keep quiet when it came to the really important stuff.
