Yeonjun inhaled in surprise. He hadn't expected such a suggestion, especially not from Beomgyu.
It had to be the pain that spoke from him, and therefore the blond didn't question it.
He cupped Beomgyu's face with both hands and looked at him seriously. "I'll go anywhere with you."
The black-haired man's tears ran down Yeonjun's fingers after he uttered that sentence, and Beomgyu was extremely relieved. "Then let's go now, we can go out the window," Beomgyu immediately suggested and gave his friend a wet kiss, loosened their hands and stood up to get a backpack from the closet.
He was completely serious.
He wanted to leave, even though he was unaware that this was the second time he had fled.
Yeonjun tracked him with his gaze, brushed his hands, sweating with nervousness, on his pants, and rose to his feet. "Through the window?" he asked, genuinely puzzled by Beomgyu's drive. Then, seeing how serious the situation was, he walked toward the window, opened it, and looked down. It wasn't particularly high and there were bushes below that could catch them. "I'll get stuff from my room," he let his friend know quietly as he turned back toward him.
Nodding, Beomgyu looked up at Yeonjun as he was already stuffing clothes from his suitcase into his backpack.
"Thank you," he just whispered back to the blond with so much relief in his voice.
He also didn't really realize at the moment what he was asking of Yeonjun and how selfish his decision was, because all Beomgyu could think about at the moment was running away with his beloved. And then maybe he could be happy. Or rather, that was the only way he could find peace. Because if all turned against him ...
He had no other choice.
Only when Yeonjun sneaked back into Beomgyu's room with an equally packed backpack and even had already put on his shoes, the situation seemed to be deadly serious.
Now there was a decision to be made, and Beomgyu had to make it. Because Yeonjun would support him no matter what.
