Beomgyu and Mashiro had moved their date to Friday after all, because the girl wanted to take him to her uncle's café.
It was a cozy little café where there were also quite a few people at that hour, as the two had left right after school to spend time with Kai on Saturday. The two students got along well, laughed, and actually seemed to have several things in common, which to Mashiro was just a bigger sign that Beomgyu liked her. She felt great spending time with him and would never have thought that he might already have someone. And Mashiro had many questions that she asked Beomgyu and with each answer she got to know him better. And the Choi also learned some interesting things about her, such as that she had an older brother, her parents were going through a crisis as well, and she was actually considered the chick of the family. Mashiro had always tried to learn a lot, but was more of an average student. Finally, her parents had to be satisfied with that and at some point also stopped to make her so much pressure.

And the guilty conscience hit him like a raging train. Nevertheless, he picked up the phone.
"Honey?" immediately rang out Yeonjun's voice, and luckily Mashiro was busy with her hot chocolate so she didn't hear.
