Seashell Storm

Tsunamis are born in seashells,
they are the violent wrath of the storm.

Molluscs hold the answers to why hurricanes are born.

Empty crab shells are gateways to earthquakes,
and you can tell when a clam shell has birthed an eruption underwater,
from its grieving of it's stolen pearl.

And can't you see?
These scallop shells are causing typhoons to swell.

And yes you can hear the ocean in seashells beached on land,
they cry out for home buried underneath the sand

These seashells hold the secrets of the past,
they tell a story of the beginning,
as they hold the answers of the future,
and the legends from beasts of the end.

You can find a thousand whispers listening to the ocean,
they all know the story of the sea's wrath.

Because the sea is an earth shaker,
storm maker,
sky breaker.

The sea and its shells are one in the same,
and to carry a piece home is to take part of its name.
But the sea won't miss a couple of shells,
to understand the way the tide turns,
in fact it encourages you to spread its story,
to sing its lonely songs.

It welcomes you into its territory,
 but don't forget this warning.

The sea isn't forgiving to those that take too much,
and it sits and it rages until the beaches start to flood.

Karma and retribution,
That's what the sea knows best.

So be careful when the sea starts to storm,
you might've taken the treasure from buried in the beach,
  from laying on the shoreline,
from tucked into the rock pools,
and from the creases in the seabed on the ocean floor.

It's not a careless master,
but the sea is known to be quick to anger
