Cannibal Crush

A monster without compare,
a distinct anomaly in the human species.

Anti-Me and Anti-you.

You're distinctly horrific,
you could be picked out of a crowd,
just through the craze in your gaze.

Yet somehow you've tricked me,

I've fallen for a trick,
a joke,
a crime.

You could feed me my heart,
still beating from when you ripped it out of my chest.

I wouldn't recognize my guts if I ate from your hand.
I wouldn't even care.

I'm cannibalized as you compartmentalize my insides,
as you feed me my own love.

Feast on my regret,
Drink with my disgust,
and devour my sincere loathing.

You're a cannibal,
a cannibal whose picked the marrow from my bones,
and cleaned my hollow being empty.

A husk without a soul powered by toxicity.

So tell my family not to mourn me,
I'm a shell without a face,
a stupid girl without a name.

I'm dead at the hands of a cannibal,
a terrible legacy for a terrible fool,
enamored by a monstrosity beloved by one.

I'll be remembered as someone who loved a cannibal,
but to be honest I'm perfectly comfortable in this confinement.

Because to me your love is worth everything and all,
even if I'm destined to die at your hands,
and by your hunger as you're ravenous for gore.
