Epilogue

"Alpha, the informant is here." The gamma announced as he stood right at the door.

Mabilis na napatingin si Zachary sa mga bagong dating at ibinaba ang reading glass na suot. He left out a sigh before signaling them to come in. Nagpatiuna naman ang dalawa.

Having the palace's presence in his territory makes him and his wolf restless. Kahit pa dala nito'y magandang balita. It's not that he hated the palace or everyone in the palace, it's just, the mere presence of it bring something up from the past that he wants to get buried deep.

"What is it this time, Franco?" Agad niyang tanong sa informant nang makapasok ito. Ayaw niya ng paligoy-ligoy.

The informant give him a loopsided grin and crosses his leg, sat in his sofa.

"Aren't you gonna greet me first? We barely seen each other. Loosen up a bit, man." Nakangisi saad nito.

Napahilot siya sa sintido. This is also the reason why he doesn't want the palace's informant to be in his territory. He's giving him headaches everytime he visits.

"Now is not the time, Franco. My hands are full and i want you to state your visit."

Mabilis naman na nag-iba ang expression ng mukha ni Franco ng maulingan nito ang kapagoran at kaseryosohan sa boses ni Zachary. Franco might be naughty and sometimes a hardheaded person but he knows when to get serious and when's not, especially to Zachary. He know his cousin really well dahil sabay silang lumaki. And when Zachary is serious it means you have to be serious too.

"You're being too hard on yourself, Zach. Anyway," he cleared his throat and heave. "Alam kong alam mo na kung sino ang kumuha ng black rose. The king sent me here to inform you that Roylan Ines, Dead Arrow's leader is making a move to attack anytime in any pack. Walang specific na pack ang kanilang aatakihin, they'll just randomly attack. Kaya nag-abisa agad hari. He send every informant he have to every pack and i was sent here. He wants you to train your warriors more and as much as possible secure your borders everytime."

"Does that mean, Roylan, already use the black rose?"

'Di mapigilan ni Zachary ang mangamba para sa kanyang pack. If the Dead Arrow's leader makes a uses of black rose already, the chances of winning is thin.

Umiling si Franco sa kanya. "We don't know. Ang tanging alam lang ng spy na ipinadala ng hari ay ang gagawing atake ng Dead Arrow sa bawat pack." Franco said.

Pagod na hinilot ni Zachary ang kanyang sintido saka malalim na bumuntong-hininga. With the warning of an upcoming war, he and his wolf were restless. Literally, restless. No sleep and even a nap. He's afraid once he'll rest where the time Dead Arrow will attack. He can't afford to lose his pack and be called the useless Alpha.

He once again took a deep breath and grab his glass of scotch before gulping it down. The uneasiness he is feeling was added up for quiet sometime. Kanina pa niya iyon na nararamdaman. Akala niya mawawala iyon sa oras na haharap siya sa trabaho ngunit nagkamali siya, mas lalo lang itong lumala. As he stare at his paper work dumaan sa isip niya si Hanna his fiancee. Kinapa niya sa sarili kung ang babae ba ang dahilan dahil wala ito sa tabi niya. But nothing, until one person crosses his mind. Selene. His mate.

His mellow heartbeat change into eratic just by thinking of her. He know he's a hypocrite because he has a fiancee but he fell in love with his mate. Yes, he fell inlove with Selene. Simula pa lang noong una. The day he found her was the day he fell in love. He decided to cut off all the ties with his fiancee but she is not here to talk about it. Until she's back from visiting her father he will break it up and pursue who he was destined for. Once na magiging okay na ang lahat, gagawa siya ng paraan mapa sa kanya lang si Selene even if it means waiting for a long time.
