"In one week from now, I better find these all healed up. I don't want to find it even more red than it is now."

Gwen couldn't stop thinking about that moment from the other week. It made her heart beat like crazy thinking of him. She looked down at her wrist and took off the bandage. Most of it was healed, but it still stung quite a bit.

She put the bandage back on and laid back while playing with the necklace. She wasn't sure why Hunter trusted her with something so precious. She never really trusted anyone to even touch her bracelet when she had it.

She still missed it. She wished she treasured it more than she had before. If so, she probably wouldn't have lost it in the first place. Who knows where it was. Maybe a child picked it up somewhere. Maybe it drifted into the sea. Wherever it was, it was gone for good. Gwen wished to go back in time to not make that mistake. But at the same time, she was at her worst at the time. Gwen didn't want to be reminded of what she had to deal with. Things were already fine the way they were.

Gwen finally stood up and started getting ready for the day. She wished to have gone on her morning run and to see Hunter, but her body was too tired for that.

When she walked out of her room, no one was around. Cam wasn't even at his computer. "You're finally awake I see." Her father said.

"Yeah." Gwen said. She looked around confused. "Where is everyone?"

"They've gone into battle." He said.

"What?" Gwen questioned. She ran straight to the computer and watched the fight. Unfortunately the first thing she saw was Hunter crash landing his bike. She let out a gaps and started to panic. "What is going on?"

"It appears there is a power struggle in Lothor's ship." Sensei said. "The time has come to face the enemy proactively. We must find a way to get onto Lothor's ship and save all the Ninjas. Apparently Hunter has a plan."

"What kinda plan?" Gwen asked.

"I'm not sure. He took off to go find what he needed. That's when the battle started."

Gwen turned to the screen angrily. Hunter was fine. She was relieved about that, but still angry nonetheless. "That idiot."

Gwen didn't bother to look at the others when they came back in. They all greeted her, she greeted them back. But she completely ignored Hunter. He glanced at her feeling confused, but he was starting to get questioned by everyone about the gems.

Gwen sat at Cam's computer listening to their conversation. It just made her angry every time he tried to explain himself. He just kept keeping secrets.

"I was gonna tell you. But the more time that past the harder it got. I'm sorry." Hunter apologized. He turned t Gwen, she still hadn't looked at him.

"Those fragments must have been the course of the radiation I was tracking. It had nothing to do with Zurgane's sword."

"After Lothor shattered the gem I hid these two pieces out there. I'd go out there every now and again to find out if they can help me contact my parents." Hunter explained.

"I understand that sometimes your loss is difficult to accept. But what's done is done. You can never go back in time." Sensei said.

"Not without a scroll or something." Dustin chimed in.

Hunter turned to Sensei. "I know my parents are gone, but I still miss them. And those students up on Lothor's ship, someone misses them too. But it's not too late for them." He handed the gems to Cam.
