A pair of worried eyes never left Ambrosia's fragile body, Hela didn't let herself close her eyes even if it's only for a second. It has been more than 24 hours since Ambrosia blacked out. Hela had cleaned up the wounds and patched them all up, and now all she has to do is wait
She wishes she could speed up the process of healing, but she doesn't have the same powers as the injured woman. Every time she'd glance at the injuries she would remember the blonde woman who attacked Ambrosia
Hela figured that she might be the current woman Ambrosia was dating, the blonde woman looked like she was not in her right mind when she was holding her spear above Ambrosia. Hela had so much questions going through her mind none of which are answered, not until Ambrosia wakes up
Upon releasing a big yawn, she stared at Ambrosia for a split second and thought it'll be a good idea to take a quick nap, and that nothing bad is going to happen to Ambrosia as long she's in the same room. After Hela closed her eyes, Ambrosia slowly begins to open hers
Ambrosia was about to take a look around when she was struck by a thundering pain on her head, she noticed that she was all patched up with bandages. She didn't understand why, but not later all the memories came rushing in her mind
She remembered Thena attacking her and Hela rushing in before she had fainted. Ambrosia gently moved her head and saw Hela sitting on a chair right next to her, she smiled for a moment, thinking how sweet it is for Hela to stay by her side
However, Thena popped in her mind and her smile faded. Ambrosia couldn't imagine what she might be feeling right now, she has no idea where it is either, and all she remembered was the regret in her eyes, the amount of guilt that was building up. Not only was Thena was scared of hurting Ambrosia again, but she was also afraid of herself and what she might do next
"Ambrosia?" the woman in bed snapped back to reality when she heard Hela's deep and worried voice
"Hi..." she said followed by a weak smile
"Ambrosia!" Hela shot up from her seat and turned on the lap on the nightstand "A-Are you okay? Are you hurting anywhere? Do you want me to fetch you something? Water, food, something?" Ambrosia chuckled at how frantic Hela was being
"I'm okay"
"Are you sure?"
"I think I ought to know myself" she stated with rolled eyes
"Yes, but I know you like to hide things from people" Ambrosia nodded at the stated fact "Why are you here and how did you know where I live?"
"It wasn't hard to find your file in the principal's office and...I guess I just wanted to see you, I didn't expect to find your current girlfriend to be attacking you like that...almost bringing you to the brink of death"
Ambrosia couldn't help, but to frown and wince at what Hela said, as much as she didn't want to admit that Thena really attacked her, the damage was already done and she did almost died, but it wasn't like Thena was in her right state of mind "Please don't say that..." Ambrosia said quietly
"But it's true! She-"
"I know what happened, okay?!?" Ambrosia yelled and the both of them fell into silence. Hela just stared at the woman in front of her
"I don't get why you're still defending her"
"Because you don't know her like I do"
"But she hurt you"
"Like you didn't hurt me or people before" Ambrosia scoffed and Hela frowned
"That was different, Ambrosia. And since when did I hurt you before? Are you referring to the day I got imprisoned? C'mon, we both know that that was my father's doing! You think I wanted us to be apart?"
