Another Sunday in the laundromat and Elizabeth has still failed to get her washing machine fixed. She had tried calling everyone who could help her get the machine working again, but it seems that there wasn't anyone that was available at the moment.

As like before, there was no one in the laundromat in the middle of the night. Elizabeth set her dirty clothes in the washing machine and did the same procedure as before, immediately sitting down on the chair because she had extra batches of clothes and they were heavy to carry around.

Bored out of her mind, she's beginning to regret not bringing her phone with her. She's been lessening her time with electronics the past week in an attempt to get out more. See the world for once in her grey world. Even though she was bored, Elizabeth was still excited to see Sammy again, and most certainly didn't forget to bring peanut M&Ms for her.

After nearly an hour, her clothes were already done being washed and it was time to dry them. Elizabeth was starting to overthink, thinking that Sammy wasn't coming at all or maybe she had already forgotten Elizabeth, she didn't want to think that Sammy was actually a bad person, but her anxiousness started to over come her.

What if this was just all her game? Since she knows...I'm pretty lonely, that this whole stupid 'friends' thing was just a way to bring me down even more, to make me feel even more disconnected with the world. Yeah...that seems about right...Of course, gullible me would believe fake tender words like Sa-

Suddenly, Elizabeth was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a sudden coldness spiking under the skin of her neck. Elizabeth's reflexes told her to flinch away and when she did, she heard a great tune of laughter.

"Wow! You almost jumped as high as a cat!" Sammy's smile was as wide as the Cheshire's, but not as creepy as his. "Here!" She said, pointing an ice pop towards Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was confused, wondering why Sammy would bring an ice pop. Her hand reaches out and hesitantly takes the ice pop. "Thanks, but why?"

"Well, it's pretty hot outside and I thought it would be a good idea for something frozen."

"Where's yours?"

"I had something to drink on the way. Sorry I'm late by the way.

"Not at all!" The woman said, shaking her head, then she noticed that Sammy wasn't carrying a basket of clothes. "Aren't you washing anything?"

"Oh yes, my roommate decided to clean my laundry yesterday." Sammy replied as she sits beside Elizabeth.

"Yet you still came..."

"Wouldn't you think it'll be rude to stand someone out?" Elizabeth saw how Sammy raised an eyebrow as she smiled and tilted her head. She looked so adorable that Elizabeth couldn't resist blushing and looking away.

"Y-Yeah, I guess it would be..." Elizabeth uttered out and slowly started opening the ice pop before it melts. Sammy saw the woman reach for something inside of her small bag, her eyes twinkled when she spotted the yellow packaging of her favourite snack. "Peanut M&Ms, just like you said."

"You remembered! Thank you!" Sammy exclaimed, she took the snack and quickly opened it, tossing one in the air and impressively catching it with her mouth.

"You know, if you could afford an ice pop, then why didn't you buy M&Ms too?" The woman pondered.

"Um...the reason is kinda funny." A chuckle escaped from her mouth as her cheeks turned quite pink from feeling embarrassed of the reason. "See, I am obsessed with these! So I told myself that I would limit myself from buying anymore peanut M&Ms, not unless someone else offers or buys it for me, and then you came!"
