The sound of the sea, the wind gently blowing and the sun peaking through a small crack in the clouds shined brightly. Thus waking up Inara in a lovely, when she opened her eyes she was met with the wonderful view of the ocean and green landscape
It has been a few days since Inara arrived in Cairnholm. She couldn't herself to leave the place, it something about it keeps drawing her in. Though it wasn't because of her grandmother, it was something else
Inara stood up from the rocking chair Eveniny used to sit on, just right in front of the window. Eveniny and her would used to sit and stay at this very spot, often staying in silent and enjoying each other's company
The woman just wished she would've known that the last she saw Eveniny would actually be the last time, if so, she would've spent more time with her. A part of her blames herself for the death of grandmother, if she had visited regularly like her used to, then maybe she would've noticed the signs or symptoms that she was getting ill, but Inara that would probably wouldn't make a difference
Inara sighed and shook her head and made her way to the bathroom. She took off her clothes, then took a warm shower, wrapping a towel around her body afterwards. Most of her own clothes are still wet since she just washed yesterday and with the cold weather they weren't able to dry overnight, so she decided to pick some of Eveniny's old clothes
She went inside her grandmother's room and checked her closet. Thankfully, Eveniny didn't throw away her old clothes nor did Kev or Uncle Oggie. She chose a couple of clothes that would pair up good with each other; a beige top, white skirt and a somewhat of a sandstone coloured cardigan, then some dark brown tights, paired with oxford shoes. As for the hair, Inara didn't do much about it and just braided it and added a ribbon
