Morning approached the two women and Inara ended up waking up earlier than Alma. The sun was shining in the living room and the young woman could see how peacefully the black haired woman was sleeping. Inara couldn't bring herself to wake her up
Thankfully, at about 7:45 in the morning Olive and Emma had come down from their rooms and were surprised to see the both of them on the couch. Inara saw them and waved her hand and whispered "Hi" to them
Emma and Olive walked closer to two women on the couch "What happened?" Emma asked
"Well, um...nothing, really. We chatted last night and got into this" the girls observed their Headmistress and seem to be flabbergasted
"Sorry, we didn't mean to stare so long...We just never seen her like this..."Emma stated
"So relaxed," Olive added. "We always knew she had it harder than all of us. As straight-forward as she is, she never really had the time to herself. Always worrying and in command, we weren't exactly sure how to approach her. She's a very private woman" Olive whispered
"It's a good thing you came along" Emma said which made Inara smile
"She is indeed a private woman, but with patients I was able to talk to her....Um, girls. I hate to ask this, but would it be possible if you make breakfast? Your Headmistress of yours is holding me down like an anchor" the girls didn't hesitate to say yes and immediately got into work
When Emma and Olive had finished making breakfast and called the rest of the children down. She didn't move from her spot even when the children saw her. They seemed quite happy and were giggling and whispering to each other. Inara then made eye contact with Enoch and him being him he didn't say anything and just ate breakfast
Later on, Inara was surprised to see Enoch handing her a plate of food. She looked up and noticed that he wasn't exactly making eye contact with you. "Thank you" she said softly while taking the plate and placing it down on the small table
"So are you actually staying here forever?" Enoch said quietly, but still keeping his usual tone. Inara nodded and he just hummed as a response "Do me one thing. Don't hurt our Headmistress, she's been through enough as it is" then he turned on his heels and left with his hands in his trouser pockets
Inara smiled to herself, that was her first time seeing that boy being caring for someone which got Inara thinking if he and Olive are in a relationship now. Her head snapped at the woman who was basically laying on top of her groan and snugged between your chest and had her grip tighten around your waist, you couldn't help but to giggle because it tickled
Alma slowly fluttered her eyes open and looked up on Inara "Well, good morning, sleepyhead" it took a moment for Alma to realise what she said and what was going on until it hit her like someone had just slapped her awake
"I-Inara! Wh-...I-...Um..." the Headmistress was at loss for words as she shot up and fixed her hair. Her cheeks were glowing red, then once she saw the younger woman staring at her with those big, bright eyes; Alma cleared her throat, not wanting to look like a fool any longer "What time is it?"
"It's 9:15" then Alma's eyes widened and before she got the chance to panic and rambled around she quickly stepped in "Don't worry, breakfast has been made and the children are all awake, probably doing their chores right now" she pointed at the plate of food on the table. Alma stared at the tomato with burnt specs
"Who cooked?" the black haired woman asked with an eyebrow raised
"Emma and Olive, why?"
"Looks like luck was at their side today because I don't usually let them cook" Alma stated and slightly tilted her head to the side, clearly wondering why "I prohibited them from the kitchen because they almost burned the house down, have you seen the kitchen?" Inara shook her head
