Ambrosia began taking things out of the fridge to make dinner with and during the process of that, she kept feeling an uneasy sensation in her stomach and cautiously kept looking around. She had been avoiding Thena for a good day now

Every time she's near her, Ambrosia couldn't control the redness from coming up to her cheeks or not being able to speak without stuttering and she curses herself for it and curses herself again for avoiding Thena

She knows it's wrong to do so, since Thena was so happy to stay with Ambrosia, only to keep her distance. Now, Ambrosia is starting to feel bad. It's no one's fault that her feelings began rising from the dead again. However, she's too obvious, It's impossible for Thena to not notice the sudden change in Ambrosia aside from keeping her distance

Not even 10 feet away from Thena, Ambrosia would start walking away from her and now, she's sure that Thena is possibly feeling unwelcome. She pressed her forehead on the fridge's door and didn't hear the nearing footsteps of Thena. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean interrupt you"

Ambrosia corrected her posture when she heard the flat-toned voice. Thena already had her back facing the other woman, about to head up the stairs when Ambrosia called her "Thena, wait!" she then rushed near the blonde goddess "I know you're probably mad at me for...avoiding you for more than 24 hours...and I just want to say I'm sorry..." she apologised while Thena still had her back facing towards her "I-I don't have an exact reason as to why I'm avoiding you...I guess, it's the feeling of having someone in my home...I haven't had anyone inside here since you and Gilgamesh came here...It's rather quite strange. Not to mention, you'd be staying here for a little more than 2 months and I don't want you feel like a complete ghost living in my home so...I'm sorry"

The both of them stood still where they were at, Ambrosia was dreading the second because it felt like hours to her. It took a moment, but Thena finally looked at Ambrosia "I understand, it has been a long time since I last seen any of the others too, but do let me know if I'm making you feel uncomfortable and don't completely give me the cold-shoulders''

Ambrosia sighed in relief and nodded, agreeing with Thena, then awkward silence filled the room until Ambrosia broke it "S-So...do you maybe want to make dinner with me?" she suggested

"Sure, darling" Thena said with a chuckle making the other woman blush

Sooner or later, they both find themselves finishing their dinner and are now busy chatting and laughing about their past on the couch with a glass of wine in their hands "Oh, I remember our first years here on Earth. We were worshipped like gods and goddesses" Ambrosia said while taking another sip of the wine

"Mmm, and I remember a specific goddess who was afraid of lizards" Thena teased and laughed

"Oh, my goodness!" she shuts her eyes and cringes, embarrassed about those moments "It's not my fault! We were all new to Earth and we had a couple things to fear!" Ambrosia huffed while Thena was still laughing

"Okay, okay! I'm sorry!" Thena then began to calm herself and the ambiance in the room cooled down to peaceful moment

"I miss Sprite doing one her story-telling illusions to people without being frightened. Nowadays, it's impossible to do so, not unless they're little toddlers" Ambrosia stated while smiling at the memories of those moments

"Indeed..." Ambrosia noticed Thena fidgeting with the glass of wine in her hand, she knew that Thena wants to say something, but she didn't push her and waited for the blonde goddess to speak up "You know, Ajak and Sprite visited us once and that time, I wasn't in my rightful state. The...Mahd Wy'ry had taken over me again and Sprite used one of her illusions on me...It helped, but...I couldn't recognise myself"
