"—AND do not set the kitchen on fire while we're gone." Sirius finished, half heartedly glaring at Harry. It was now a few weeks later. Nothing had happened in the last few weeks. Cassius spent all of his time in his own room.

Harry raised his hands. "It was one time!"

Regulus shook his head fondly.

Him and Sirius were going to go run some errands and have some brotherly time, leaving the two teenagers in Grimmauld place.

Cassius waited until the two adults left, then immediately rushed to the staircase when they did, wanting to go back to sleep as soon as possible.

When he was finally in his room, he took his shirt off and laid in bed, closing his eyes and falling asleep.

About an hour later, Cassius' eyes opened when he heard knocking on his bedroom door.

He let out a groan when Harry poked his head through the door. "What the fuck do you want, Potter?"

Not knowing why Harry was not replying, Cassius finally looked at him. Only then did he realize Harry's eyes had stopped on a scar on his chest.

Cassius immediately covered himself with the blanket, breathing heavily with widened eyes.

Harry finally looked into the boy's eyes, swallowing. "It's not that bad—" he pathetically tried, anything to stop the boy from getting angry, but was interrupted.

"Didn't Sirius ever teach you how to knock?!"

"I did. 5 times, actually. I thought you were dead."

Cassius rolled his eyes. "Get out, Potter." He said, sighing heavily after Harry did as he asked. "Fuck." He grabbed his shirt and wore it, then walked out of his room.

When he was downstairs, he grabbed a bottle of water and drank it. After a few minutes, he walked back to his room and stopped when he noticed the door already open.

When he walked in, he saw something on his bed. Curious, he walked over to it and picked it up, reading the label; 'Scar Ointment'

Grabbing it, Cassius immediately walked over to Harry's room, knocking on the door. When the door opened, Cassius held the small bottle of scar ointment up with a confused look. "I think this is yours."

"It's yours now," said Harry, "if you want it. If not, you can throw it. I don't mind."

Cassius was quiet for a few seconds. "Why would you give this to me?"

"Why not?" the other boy asked in return. "Put it on your scars. It will not make it fade completely, but it will make it less noticeable. The bigger the scar, the bigger the chance it will stay noticeable, though."

The young Black nodded slowly, then a small smile formed on his lips.

Harry had to rub his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming, but unfortunately the smile was gone as soon as it came.

"Thank you, Potter." was all Cassius said before he closed the door and walked back to his own room.

That night, Cassius tried putting the ointment on his scars, then shook his head when he couldn't put it on his back.

He stood up and put a shirt on, then walked downstairs, where everyone else was having dinner. They all quietened when they saw the young boy joining them.

Then, Harry, acting like it was totally normal and not something that happened for maybe the second time over the weeks Cassius had stayed, poured water in a glass and gave it to Cassius. "Hungry?"

"Not at all," replied Cassius, taking the glass of water and taking a sip.

"So," started Sirius after he finished eating, "we're going to visit Malfoy manor tomorrow."

Harry immediately choked on the water he was drinking. "What?!"

"Narcissa is our cousin," explained Regulus, "and Sirius hasn't had any contact with her for over two decades. We're going over tomorrow for a family dinner."

"I can stay out of this, right? Since they're not my cousins and all." Harry tried desperately.

"You're coming," concluded Sirius immediately, ignoring Harry's groan.
