THE next few months passed by very quickly. Cassius hadn't talked to Harry since the day by the Black lake, spending all of his time studying for O.W.Ls, waiting for the day he had to take those exams. Today was that day.Every fifth year was in the great hall, each of them in a separate desk, answering questions on the paper in front of them in complete silence.
It took a few hours, but when Cassius was finally done, he stood up and walked out of the great hall just like the students that had finished.

"You're packing already?" asked Blaise in confusion, looking at Cassius, who was indeed packing.
Cassius nodded. "There's only a week left."
"I don't know where you got that energy." The other boy shook his head and went back to reading the magazine in his hands.
"There's a quidditch game left, so remember to not pack your quidditch uniform and gear." Draco said as he walked into their dorm.
"Alright."

A few days later, it was the final Quidditch game of the year; Slytherin VS Gryffindor.
Everyone stood on the edge of their seats in the stands, looking at the two seekers, who were about to shake hands.
Madam Hooch looked between the two of them. "Shake hands, seekers."
Cassius held out a hand, his face void of any emotion.
Harry took it and shook it, not looking away from the grey eyes that were staring right into his green ones.
"On your brooms!" instructed Madam Hooch, watching as the two seekers now flew into the air with their teams. "3.. 2.. 1!"
The Quaffle was thrown into the sky, and the snitch was released.

Sirius didn't take his eyes off of his godson, whispering to his brother, "I bet you 10 galleons Gryffindor is going to win."
"I bet you 20 Slytherin will win." Regulus whispered back, his eyes on his son.
"Deal, Reggie."
The commentator— Fred Weasley— shouted into the microphone, "Gryffindor scores! 30-40!"

"Catch the damn snitch!" Blaise shouted in the air after scoring again, a bludger hitting his arm. He hissed in pain, clutching his arm.
Cassius glared at him. "I'm trying!" He shouted back, turning around and flying after the snitch.
Harry flew right next to him, flying as fast as he could as he held his arm out.
Cassius also held his arm out, trying to catch the snitch.
"Push him!" Cassius heard the Slytherin keeper shout at him. "Push him out of the way!"
Cassius gritted his teeth, not doing that. And just a minute later, his hand closed around something small.
Harry stopped immediately, mouth opening in shock.
Cassius held up the snitch he had just caught in the air.
"Black caught the snitch! Slytherin wins!" Fred Weasley shouted into the microphone over the cheers coming from the Slytherin stand.
Cassius flew down, Harry not too far behind him. He stopped and looked at the quidditch house cup, which was on his teammate's shoulders.
"You did it!" Theo slung an arm over Cassius' shoulder, pulling him to the cheering teammates. "You caught the snitch! We fucking won!"
"That's great." Cassius said, and he meant it. He looked at Harry, who gave him a small smile in return, then walked away with his own teammates.
"Party in the room of requirements!" Blaise shouted over the cheers. "Everyone's invited! Even the fucking Gryffindors!"
