SIX months passed by again. It had been a year since Regulus' death. Cassius, who had just finished his seventh year, walked to his father's grave, kissing the headstone when he reached it. Then, he sat down next to it and looked at the dark sky. His eyes stopped on the Regulus star.

"Not much has changed," he started, talking to his father like he was there. "Sirius is back to his regular self. Harry helps me as much as he can. He's always there whenever I have nightmares and wipes my tears after I cry on his shoulder."

All he got was silence, but he continued, "I've started to move on, I think. It's hard, though." He said, biting the inside of his cheek, trying to focus on the pain in his mouth instead of the pain in his heart. "It's so hard. But I'm trying like I promised. And it's going to take time for it to fully happen, but I feel it starting."

He let out a breath, wiping a tear that fell. "I got a job from the Auror department. They offered me a position as soon as I graduated, saying that I've helped put death eaters back into Azkaban. Funny, right? It was you that did the work. I was just the reason you died."

"I killed Bellatrix afterwards and nobody gave a shit," he continued, eyes never leaving the star. "Not that she deserved care. You'd be disappointed about the fact that I killed her afterwards. I'm not sorry, though. I know that if I didn't, I would go into Azkaban myself and kill her, not caring if a dementor sucked my soul in the process."

He swallowed the lump in his throat. "I love you, dad. I'm sorry I made you feel like I didn't at times. I'm sorry I made you feel guilty. And most of all, I'm sorry I was the reason you died." He stood up, kissing the headstone again. "But I'll make you proud like I promised. That's all I can do now. And it's what I'll put all my energy into. Wherever you are, I hope you've found peace. I hope you're surrounded with all types of tea and all types of flowers. You deserve nothing less. And you deserve so much more."

"Thank you for saving me. I'm sorry your life was the cost of it. I'm so sorry." He finished, then apparated away, not realizing the star shined a little brighter than before.
