This is OUR Year (Chrissy X Eddie)

〰️Chrissy's Pov〰️ 

     " I cannot believe him!" I slam the back door of the van and grab my bag from the front seat. Eddie followed close behind while we walked into school. I met eyes with Jason and his smile fell. 

     In the first class I would usually sit by Jason, that I didn't even notice me and Eddie had the same class. I went towards the back with him. " I don't usually sit by anyone," He laughed. " So you're welcome to sit by me."

     I smile at him sweetly. " Of course, I would love to sit by you." He brushes his hair with his hand and sits down. Jason walks in and glares at Eddie, and Eddie glares at him. The tension is so thick I could suffocate. No one else knew of last nights events but the three of us. 

     "  Hey Sunshine, why don't you come sit with me?" Jason patted the seat next to him.

     " Oh, I'm sorry, I thought that seat was reserved for Catherine." My words laced with poison. A few people tuned into the argument we soon began. Jason scowled. 

     " Baby, her house is on the way here and she was walking in the cold. You understand, right?" His voice sounded harmless. 

     " Oh and I'm not on the way? Did you even try?" I spit and crossed my arms. A mixture of 'oohs' were heard. 

     " Hey the teacher walked in maybe we should stop this." Eddie whispered. I nodded then gave the bird to Jason. He stared at me, then turned back in his seat. 

    The first class went by quickly, but I was already ready for the day to be over. Eddie surprisingly always found a way to see me in the halls, or I just never noticed him there before. He always smiled and waved, followed by his Hellfire friends. 

     Fourth period began and Catherine sat behind me. Jason nor Eddie was present so I decided to maybe find out when the hell this started happening. I turned around and gave a fake smile.

     " Hey Catherine!" I chirp and she looks at me, jealousy ever present in her eyes. 

     " Hello Chrissy," She looked at her nails. " What's up."

      " Oh nothing, just wondering when you decided to screw my boyfriend." I still sported a smile and her eyes shot up to mine.

     " Please don't kick me off the team," She squeaked, " I'll do anything to stay on the team, please let me stay."

     " Should have thought about that before you fucked 'em. I assume you'll give me your uniform and pompoms tomorrow?" I smiled. She gulped. 

     " Chrissy please I'm begging"

     " I could make that effective right now."

     She sighed, clearly defeated, " I'll have it to you by tomorrow."

     " Great! Thank you so much Bestie!" I smiled and turned around in my seat. 

     The end of the day had come and I walked towards the parking lot when Jason came behind me and walked next to me. " Baby, please listen to me-"

      " How can I? You pull up with the girl you cheated on me with, and I'm supposed to take you back? What kind of fucked up are you?" I push him away from me and continue to walk to Eddie's van. Eddie was waiting for me, leaning on the side of the van. I smiled and waved at him. 

     " So now what, you go to the freak of the school? This is ridiculous Chrissy, come on!" He raises his hands up in the air.

     " Well, if it comes to it, I'm sure his is bigger than yours." I left it at that and trek to Eddie. Jason walked towards his car fuming. Catherine tried to get in his car but he locked the door and drove off.

     " What did you say to him?" Eddie asked turning the car on. 

     " Oh nothing. Don't worry about it. Say, what if I come to your show tonight?" I asked hoping he would say yes. 

     " I-I, of course you can! Though, it would be beneficial if you just rode with me to the place. I can drop you off real quick to tell your parents if needed!" A sparkle began in his eye as he drove towards my house. I nodded in agreement. 

     I jumped out of the car and into the house, quickly telling my mother I would be out and if I was allowed. She said I was and it would help me get over Jason so I grabbed a purse and hauled ass into Eddie's van again. " Okay, I'm ready!" I grinned and he hummed and began to drive. 

     We arrive at the venue and it's a little hole in the wall called 'The Hideout'. I helped the little band set up the best I could and ordered a chocolate shake. They began to play and they were honestly pretty good!

      " This one's for you Chrissy." He pointed to me and began to play my favorite metal song: 'Master of Puppets'. I sang along to the song, he did so well on the guitar. 

    After the show, we packed up the equipment and got in the van. " You did amazing Eddie!" I hugged him over the console.

     " Thank you Princess. I enjoyed tonight." He said in a hushed voice. The hug lingered, and I took in his scent. It was calming, I wish that the hug would last forever, but sadly it had to end. 

     "Let's get you home." He pulled away and smiled. 

     We made it back to my house after screaming lyrics to our favorite songs. I opened my door and waved to him. 

     " Goodnight Princess, make sure you check for peas!" He yelled. I laughed at how stupid that joke was and said goodnight back. 

     I laid in bed thinking of the wonderful night I just had. I began to frown, remembering it was the weekend and I wouldn't see him again until Monday. 

     Wait, why am I sad I won't see him?
