〰️ Eddie's Pov 〰️

     " The hell are you doing here? It's 11pm." I blurt out, putting the hand in front of the lights that shone directly into my eyes. Jason shifted his weight, then decided he had the balls to come towards me. I've been as civil as I can in front of Chrissy, but now that she's not around, I could do anything I wished. I wish I could wipe that shit eating grin off of his face. I scowled and stood in front of the door. " What do you want, Jason?" 

     " Well, I saw Chrissy's car here, so I thought I would pay a visit." He said, a cigarette poking out of his mouth. I frowned. 

     " There is no way in hell you just happened to be here. Now I'll ask again, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked again, crossing my arms at this point agitated. He frowned.

       " I just wanted to know why she's at a freak's house? Had she been cheating before I did?" He takes his smoke out and flicks the ashes on the ground then taking another drag. " Just seems, suspicious to me. Maybe she's hiding something from me." He smiles again.

     " You know she did not do that Jason. You're nothing but a prick and a nuisance to her." I spit at him. He scoffs and finally discards the butt of his smoke on the ground, crushing the embers with his sneakers. 

     " Of course, you would be the one to defend her, you 're the one she cheated on me with. So just admit it and we can go past this. We all make-"

     " She would never have cheated on you, not in a million years! Much less a guy she just met!" I say defensively, raising my arms up in annoyance. He starts to laugh, causing me to frown. 

     " Whatever, nerd. I believe it's time for her to go home. Could you get her for me?" He asks. 

    Like hell he's gonna see her. " No. She's not coming out, much less to see you." I assert. 

     He shrugged. " One way or another I'm making sure she's fine. For all I know you could be a murderer, being a part of that cult shit." He seethes. I roll my eyes.

     " First off, Hellfire is no cult, second off you're not getting into this trailer if I can help it." I snap back at him. He begins to walk towards me in a gruff manner. I held my position at the door as he came face to face with me, almost an uncomfortable lack of distance between him and I.

     " And I told you if you got in the middle of this your dead, freak." He growled. I pulled out the pocket knife from my back pocket and flip it open, and I raise it towards his chest. 

     " Get the fuck off my property, you prick." I bellowed. He looked down and backed up.

     " This isn't over freak. This is a warning." He says as he walks backwards to his car. He got in his car and drove off. I sigh out and put the blade up. Just then, the door opens and a sleepy Chrissy stands. 

     " Hey Princess, did you get a good rest?" I asked, making sure she didn't ask why I was outside. She nodded and looked at her watch as she stretched.

     " Shit, I need to get home." She yawns out. I nod curtly and walk back inside as she closes the door. 

〰️ Chrissy's Pov 〰️ 

     I was woken up by the sound of a car driving on the gravel. I didn't see Eddie anywhere, so the next best option was outside. I found him there and he came inside. I grabbed my keys, slipped my shoes on, and combed my hair out with my fingers. 

     " It was very nice to see you Eddie, I would love to do this again," I grab a cupcake and began to unwrap it. " And you need to give me your recipe." We both laughed. 

     " It's really no problem, anytime." He smiled down to me, meeting my eyes. " He wrote down something on a sticky note and gave it to me. " Here's my number Princess. Call it anytime, and if my Uncle answers just ask for me. Gets pretty boring here." He laughs as he pulls his hair out of the bun. 

     We said our goodbyes and I started the car, silently cursing at myself to get a muffler. I pulled out of the drive and began the trek home. 

     Weirdly, I began to notice a pair of headlights always following me. I was to tired to give reason to it, maybe thinking they were just heading home also. I pulled into the driveway of my home, and the headlights disappear into the night. I shook of the weird feeling and walked inside, surprisingly no upset parents, but a note telling me leftovers were in the fridge and to be quiet. I smile at the note and began to eat. 

     I still had the weird feeling of some sort and had goosebumps. I look in the front windows, and the same pair of headlights were across the street. I could see it was Jason's Lincoln from the streetlight. 

     I groan and walk outside, torn away from the best deli sandwich of my life. The headlights turn off when I walk outside and I stay on the front porch, in case anything happens. I didn't feel like calling Eddie, he was probably asleep by now. 

     " Go away Jason I really don't want to see you." I say as he walks through the yard to get to me. He ends up at the front steps. 

     Suddenly, he gets on his knees and takes my hand.

     " Please take me back. It's been hell without you. Please Sunshine. I'm begging you, please." He begs. I shrug his hand off of mine and glare at him. His eyes meet mine. " I know you're mad but I can make it up to you I promise, just, please." He has tears in his eyes. 

     " I almost feel a bit sad for you. But considering you fucked a friend of mine and carried her around like a trophy, I don't." I say, crossing my arms. He frowns.

     " She didn't mean anything to me Sunshine-"

     " Don't call me that." I spit. 

     " Chrissy please." He says. I shook my head. 

     " No, Jason. You ruined it. No, demolished, the trust we had before." I say. 

     " Fine. You're a slut anyway! Why don't you go back and fuck that freak Eddie!" He says nastily. I gasp. 

    " I never want to see your lousy ass again Jason. Get off my lawn or I'll call my dad." I say. He shot up. 

     " You'll come back. You always do." He seethes. He was never able to stand straight up around my father. Father never liked him, and now I see why.

     After I see him drive away I go inside and lock the doors and the windows. I became paranoid. Paranoid that he would come back angrier then ever, and he would do things to me. I shudder as I walk to my room upstairs, waiting for daylight to come.
