Chapter 3: Cliff diving

Jade Pov

" Wake up" I heard my medalling brother say.

" go away" I groaned turning on my side.

" come on, wakey wakey Jadey cakes" he shaking me lightly.

I groaned again," I hate it when you call me that" I said angrily, pulling the covers over my head. He laughed.

" I brung you breakfast," he said in a bribing tone," it's your favorite" he added.

" what is it?" I asked curiously.

" Tacos" I knew he was smiling when he said that, because he knows I like tacos for breakfast.

"well why didn't you say so" I said, getting out my bed faster than you could say butterstoch.

" put some clothes on first, your exposing yourself and this is a side of my sister, I don't want to see." he said closing his eyes. I looked down at myself, and I sure was exposing a lot of skin. I wearing some short black shorts with a black and white bra. Hey, can't blame a girl for being comfortable in her own bed.

" when you shouldn't be barging into my room" I said, walkng into my closet.

" whatever, speaking of your room" he started," how do you like it" he asked.

" I don't like it, I love it" I replied with a smile. He chuckled. It got quiet for a moment until I broke the silence. " so are you coming cliff diving with me and Jacob" I asked.

"Jacob and you, and I didnt know nothing about it." he replied, as I slid on a tank top and walked out of my closet. He had confused look on his face.

" I thought he would have told you" I said.

" yeah, this is unlike him, but Akuna Matata because im going anyway, now come on I'm hungry" he said, getting off my bed. He walked over to me and linked our arms. We left my room,decended the stairs, and entering the kitchen. Once in the dining room we sat down and ate.

" So have you talked to mom and dad?" I asked .

" I talked to mom. She just asked me how was I doing and she told me that they would be home Wednesday" he replied, finishing the rest of his first taco.

" did you..." I trailed.

" no I didn't tell them you were home"he said.

I sighed in relief," good, you know your a good brother when you want to be." I said biting my taco.

"I know" he said, with a smile. Then his smile faded, and had a serious look on his face," do you like Jacob?" he asked.

" is it any of you business whether I like him or not?" I questioned him.he didn't say anything," exactly what I thought ,Dylan"

" its not my business ,but I do have a right to protect you" he said.

" I know" I said sipping my sprite, and taking a bite of my taco.

" so back to my unanswered question do you like Jacob"

" if I tell you an answer will you shut up about the situation" I asked.

" sure" he replied laughing.

" No" I did not just lie to my brother, I never have. Well technically I didn't lie because I don't know if I like him or not.

" you sure?" He asked, chugging his drinking.

" Positive." I replied.

" Alright" He said with a smile.
