Jacob Pov

I woke up the next morning. It was 10:25. My eyes were really heavy because I really didn't get any sleep last night. I was up all night worrying about Jade. I got up and went to the bathroom. I turned the water on hot while stripping out of my boxers. I stepped in the shower, feeling the tension in my back go away. I lathered myself in soap and rinsed. I repeated the process two more times before getting out. I wrapped a towel around my waist and left the bathroom.

When I got to my room, I closed my door behind me. I went over to my dresser and pulled out some boxers. I slid them on under my towel before throwing the towel to a corner somewhere. I went to my closet and picked out a grey shirt with some black cargos and white shoes.

I put the clothes on and grabbed my phone off the bed. I walked into the living room and saw dad watching Tv.

"Leaving?" He asked. His eyes still on the Tv.

"Yeah." I answered.

"Son, make sure to call when you're staying out late." He said, now turning to look at me.

I nodded.

"I hope she feels better." He stated with a smile.

"Me too. You need anything while I'm gone?" He shook his head.

"Later on I'm going to Charlie and Sue's to watch the game." He told me.

"Ok. See you later, dad." I said walking towards the door.

"Bye." He replied after I walked out of the house. I pulled out my keys to the truck. I got in and pulled out onto the rode. I headed to the store.

When I got there, I went to the flower section. I picked out a dozen of daisies with a pear bottom vase. I also picked out some balloons that said, 'Get well.' To top it off, I got Jade a stuffed bear that was brown with a bow tie. After paying for the stuff, I left the store and headed to the hospital.

When I made it, I parked close to the doors and the stuff out. I walked into the hospital and to elevators. Last night Dylan texted me the new room number she was in. I pressed the 5th floor and the doors closed. Luckily, I was the only one on the elevator. A few minutes later, the elevator opened and I got off. Walking down the hallway, I saw Jade's parents. I met with them halfway.

"Hey." I greeted.

"Hello Jacob." They said in unison. They both smiled noticing the gifts.

"Is she awake? " I asked.

"Yeah, she's watching Tv. She has been expecting you." Dean answered.

"Really?" I questioned, trying not to show eagerness in my voice.

"Yeah. We've got to get some shopping done for the house. We should be back at around 3." Adrienna told me.

"We better get going then. See you, Jacob." Dean stated, patting me on the shoulder.

"See you later, Jake." Adrienna said, hugging me.

"Bye." I replied, walking down the hallway. I made it to Jade's room. I was kind of nervous, but I don't know what for. I took a breath before opening the door. I walked in, sitting her gifts by the bathroom where she couldn't see.

I saw her flipping through channels. She looked better but you could still tell she was sick and looked tired.

"Hey Jakey." She smiled that goregous smile.

"Hey sweetie, how are you feeling?" I greeted, sitting in a chair beside her. Her hand cupped the side of my face. The softness of her hand made me feel better. I took her hand and brought it my lips.

"I'm ok." She replied.

"I guess that's good. Is there anything I can do to make it better?"

"Lay in bed with me." She replied.

"Ok. Give me a sec, I have something for you." I told her, getting up and going to the bathroom area. I grabbed the items off the counter and brung them in for her to see. I planned to give them to her before I left, but since asked me lay with her, I decided to give them to her now because I didn't want her moving a lot.

"Jacob....that's so sweet." She said, while I sat the flowers and the balloons on the table. Then I handed her the stuffed bear. "Aww. I'm going to name him Jay-Jay." She implied, squeezing it in a tight hug. I couldn't help but laugh as I took off my shoes.

"You like it?"

"Yes. Thank you." She told me, scooting over and patting a spot beside her.

"No problem babe." I replied.

I crawled into bed, careful not to bump her. Once I got settled, she intertwined her leg with mine and layed her head on my chest.

"I was worried all last night about you." I told her, kissing her head.

"Yeah. My mom told be about that." She replied, placing her hand under my chin. She pecked my lips.

I hope she wasn't serious.

She pulled away.

Yep, she was serious.

I pulled her back in. I wanted some more. I captured her lips with mine. I cupped her face, sliding my tongue into her mouth. I felt when she tried to push me back out. I smirked into the kiss knowing that I had already won this battle. I pulled away after a while.

"I'm guessing my kiss wasn't enough? "

"It wasn't near enough."

She rolled eyes.

"You know it is a proven fact; If you roll your eyes they can get stuck or you could cross eyed." I teased, laughing. I didn't know if it was a proven fact I just wanted to say something weird. I mean she did it all the time.

"Is not ."

"Okay...what if you became cross-eyed. I could be having a deep conversation with you and I wouldnt know what eye to look you in." I stated. She burst in laughter but stopped, realizing that it hurt her.

"Your killing me, literally." She said, holding her stomach. I placed my hand over hers.

"You should be careful on how you react to things."

"Fine. Dad."

I chuckled." So you ate sushi, why? "

"Because I never tried it and I wanted too. But I guess I ate the wrong plate of sushi. One thing led to other and here I am in the hospital. My Dad and Dylan gave me the, 'your never eating raw fish again' talk. So don't even try it." She answered.

I laughed, knowing that I was just about to do that. I could swear she could read my mind.

"It was the worst thirty minutes of my life." She told me, frowning.

I laughed again. "I was just about my lecture."

"Please don't. "

"I won't but just promise me you won't eat it. "

"I promise." She replied.

"Good. So I was thinking when you get out of here, you should meet my dad. He has been dying to meet you." I said, lacing my hand with hers.

"Really? I feel special." She stated, causing me to smile," I'd love to meet your dad."

"Great. We could think about the day and other stuff once you get out of here."

"Ok sounds cool."

This chapter is just a filler guys. Sorry it took so long. But anyway more is going to happen in the next and I promise chapter 23 is going to be good it'll probably make you mad but life has to have some twist and turns. There ls no fun without them. Thank you for all of your patience and sticking with me. You guys are the best fans ever.
