Our Destiny (Jacob Black) Chapter 27

Jade's POV

       Tears came streaming from my face as I seen my older brother Jaylon. It feels like it has been years since I last seen him in person. He looked great. He looked a lot bigger then he did before almost the size of Jake. I guess that's what being in the military does to you.  "Well are you going to stand there or hug me?" He asked, flashing that gorgeous smile of his. Dylan reached out to touch Jaylon's shoulder to get confirmation that he was actually here and that this was not a dream.
" Yeah, I'm here Dylan, I'm back." Jaylon confirmed, chuckling a bit. In a instant, Dylan tightly embraced his older brother. Jaylon and Dylan have always been close. They had this brotherly bond that no one could ever break apart. When Jaylon initially left for basic training, Dylan couldn't fathom with what life would be like without his older brother being around. It kind of fueled him to spiral during the first few years of high school. When our parents told us that we were moving to Washington, Dylan said that it would be a great opportunity for him to start over. What life had to bring him without his older brother. This opportunity has opened many doors for Dylan and he has made friends that can last him a lifetime. Let's not forget he basically found the love of his life, something that he never thought that he would find.
Jaylon pulled away from his younger brother and patted him on the back. "I'm proud of you, Dylan. I knew you could do it."
"Thank you, Jay." Dylan replied. He looked like he just won the lottery he was so happy. Dylan went and embraced his brother once again.
"Hey, you can't take all the hugs, Dylan." I said, putting hands on my hips, showing a hint of jealousy. The both of them laughed at me just like everyone sitting at the dinner table did.
"Come here, Jaybird." Jaylon said holding out his arms. I ran into embrace and tightly wrapped my arms around him. I couldn't help but to get emotional. More tears streamed down my face.
"Don't cry, Jaybird." He said picking me up and spinning me around. I started giggling a bit.
"Put me down, Jay-Jay. They're not sad tears,  they're happy tears. I'm so happy that you are here." I told him. Jaylon put me down and wiped the rest of my tears away. 
"I still don't want you crying." He replied. I turned to around facing everyone at the dinner table, placing my hands on my hips once again. "Whose idea was it?" I asked everyone, especially my mom, dad, and Courtney.
"What are you talking about, Jade?" My Dad asked.
"Whose idea was it to have Jaylon surprise us?" I pressed.
"Guilty." Courtney said, raising her hand. "You know how mom and dad took me to dinner the last time I was here." I nodded in response. "Well we planned it then." Courtney stated smiling," Sorry not sorry, little sister."
"You guys are terrible. You have some nerve leaving me out of the loop like that."I stated, going back to my seat beside Jake, playfully pouting. Everyone laughed.
Jake placed an arm around me kissing my cheek," It's okay, Jade." He said, rubbing my arm reassuringly. I instantly felt eyes, Jaylon's in particular, burning into my skull. I  looked up and there he was with an eyebrow giving me a look that said we will talk later. Oh great another lecture about boys. Like I didn't know that boys have these things called a penis and some boys only want what's in a girl's cookie jar. I just gave him a thumbs up.

The rest of the dinner went well. Aunt Abagail left early and I couldn't have been more happier. My family that came to visit left to go home. Sam, Emily, Paul, and Jared went home as well and the rest came back to my house. Mom and Dad were upstairs doing God knows what while the rest of us were downstairs watching Fast and Furious 6. We were upstairs playing pool until Jaylon started beating everyone then we decided to go to the living room to watch a movie. If you haven't notice Jaylon excels in everything except the women's department but that's no longer a problem considering that he is getting a divorce from that bitch, I mean witch Karson. I could find him someone from around here so that way he could have a reason to come home more often but who?
     Stevi, Embry, Courtney and Brandon, her boyfriend, took up the two love seats in the living room. Dylan, Leah, Jaylon, Quil, Jacob, and myself lounged on the 'U' shaped couch.
"So Jacob what do you want to be in life?" Jaylon asked a little bit into the movie. Oh great here we go.
"Jaylon..." I whined," why aren't you interrogating Courtney's boyfriend?" I asked.
"I already did. Now it's Jacob turn." He countered with a grin. I looked at Courtney and her boyfriend, the both of them nodding their head assuring me that Brandon was in fact interrogated.
"So Jacob still waiting on that answer." Jaylon pressed.
"Jay-" I was cut off by Jacob.
" Jade it's okay." He assured me.
"Better yet let's take a walk." Jaylon said standing to his feet. Jacob then followed suit.
"Oh no you don't." I stated standing between.
"Jade it's just a walk. It's fine." Jacob said rubbing my back soothingly.
I sighed in defeat,"Hurry back." I stated.
Jaylon grinned as the two started towards the door,"Let's go, Jacob."
