Chapter 5: A day at the house with the boys

Jade's POV

The next morning I woke up to the sound of water trickling and sun beaming on my body like I was getting a tan. Something had to be wrong. I opened my eyes and to my surprise I was outside. I looked at my surroundings. I was on a blow up matress floating on top of the pool in my backyard. I screamed so loud that I probably woke the people in China. I saw the window open from the kitchen.

" Glad to see your up" Dylan said with smile. Embry and Seth were in the background laughing.

" you turds are gonna be sorry you ever messed with me" I yelled, trying to stand, But I easily lost my balance and fell into the water, they started laughing again, which made me more mad. I was mad first of all because: I never thought of a more devious plan, Second: I was mad because Jacob didn't save me, Lastly: Why me?

I swam to the edge of the pool and got out. I walked towards the side door. I saw Seth and Embry eating. They were laughing when they saw me all wet. I shot them a look and they stopped laughing and went back to eating. I continued making my way to my room, water dripping every where on the floor. Boy was mom gonna be mad at us, dad wouldnt care to much, because everything was replaceable except his Rollingstone collection. We weren't allowed to even look at them. Once I made it to my room, the sound of my brothers voice made me mad, flash backs of the prank replayed over and over again in my head.

" Towel?" I heard him say. I rolled my eyes and took the towel.

" thanks, now get out!" I said, pointing towards the door.

He held up his hands in surrender, with a smirk on his face and left.

I groaned. I wanted to laugh but at the same time I wanted to just kick somebodies ass. I went into my closet and picked out something to wear. I opted on a pair of ripped skinny jeans that I designed, An a red off the shoulder top, and my black and red crazy socks. I grabbed my clothes and a towel and went into the bathroom. I layed my clothes on the counter and turned the water on. Once it was hot, I stepped in. The water felt relaxing on my body. I lathered myself, rinsed and repeated the process a couple more times before getting out the shower. I wrapped my towel around myself and went to get my panties and bra. I walked to my dresser and pulled the draw open. I pulled out a matching set of panties and bra. Before heading back to the bathroom my door was rudely open by a half naked Jacob. He stopped in his tracks," umm I been looking for you, are you ok" He asked. I didn't answer I just rolled my eyes, because I was pretending to be mad at him for not protecting me. I know it's childish but hey, a promise is a promise.

Jacob POV

I watched her walk back into her bathroom. Why wasn't she saying anything? Was it something that happened last night? Was it because I called her cute? No. She didn't seem to mind when I said it. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't protect her. I imprinted on her, and I'm failing at the job already. Wow did I actually say that.

I sighed and sat on her bed. I'm gonna wait on her. I sat back just thinking about her. The way her hips moved when she walked. The way she licked her lips. The way she lost her train of thought. The way her hair flowed in the wind. The way her eyes shined. The way she laughed. I just couldn't quit thinking about her, and it kinda of startled me, the way I thought about her because I've only known her for 2 and a half days.

10 mintues later she came out the bathroom. She was wearing an red off the shoulder top, with some ripped skinny jeans and some crazy socks. The girl could dress. Her hair hung simply to her back. She looked amazing. She looked my way and rolled her eyes, trying to hide a smile. ohh so she was playing this whole time.
