Chapter 12:
Jade pov
Sometimes I wish I was some sort of genius, so I wouldn't have to go to school so long. I'm so glad that we get out may 10. Lucky for Dylan he didn't get to go to school because he was sick.
I just got out the shower. I went into the closet to find something to where. I decided on a red plaid shirt, some ripped black skinny jeans, and my red, black, and white vans.
I layed my clothes on my bed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out the top drawer. I pulled out a red bra and a matching set of panties. I slid into them both and put on my clothes.
I walked into the bathroom to finish getting myself ready. I plug the curling irons up and did my makeup, while they got hot. I put on some mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss. Once the curling irons were hot, I began to curl my hair in loose curls.
When I was done, I put my curling irons up and left the bathroom. I went back into my closet and grabbed my red Proda bag. I transfered all my items I had in my other purse into that one. I put the other one back where it belong.
After that, I grabbed my backpack, keys, and purse and headed out my room, locking my door behind me. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to fix me a plate. I saw my mom and dad kissing and suddenly lost my appetite. I grabbed an apple and headed out the door.
" bye mom and dad"
" bye" they said. I walked out the door, mad at myself for not talking my dad and mom out making me go to school. I huffed and walked over to my car. I punched in the code and opened the door. I put my backpack in the back seat and started my car. I pulled out the driveway and headed to school.
When I got there I regretted pulling out of my driveway. Seeing the sign of 'La push high school' made my head hurt. I looked to see if Jacob's car was in his usual parking spot and it wasn't. I parked beside it and cut the engine off. I got out the car grabbing my purse and backpack and I made my way to the entrance. I ignored the boys checking me out as usual. Once I made it inside I went to my locker. I opened it, and took out the books I was gonna need for today and set them on the ground.
" hey girly" I heard down the hallway. I looked up to see Stevi.
" what's up" I asked.
" nothing. How was your weekend?"
I blushed, thinking back to my weekend. It was one of the best.
"My weekend was amazing" I stated dreamily.
" Mhm." she said eyeing me.
" What?" I asked. Trying not to smile. But it wasn't working out so well.
She held her hands in surender," oh nothing"
" anyway, I'm so ready for this week to be over with." I groaned.
" Why so much?" she asked.
" I don't know. I'm just sick of school" I replied.
" Oh" she said. All of a sudden she had this curious look on her face," does Embry ever talk about me?"
I smiled," why? Do you like him?" I teased.
" U-Um no. I was just curious" she stammered.
" Which explains the look on your face" I mumbled.
" What was that?" she said cupping her ear.
" Oh nothing" I said.
" Good " she smirked. I notice her eyes roaming behind my head. I was begining to look confused.
